Taxsite used to be good and is not, I would not go there again ever. last year i filed late and asked for an extension and to pay what the estimate was, I paid it and no one knew there who told me to pay it no audit trail at all, no accountability and they refused to refund the money I had to pay. In November of last year i got a letter from the IRS that said I over paid by over $600.00 and they credited me. So I found another tax place, gave them my returns for the previous 2 years (as you can only do remanded for 3) and I got over $1000.00 back from the IRS due to their inept work. They used to be good, I did business with them for almost 20 years, they have degraded, I should post the IRS letters to me...beware people be careful

Went here for my personal and trust taxes, that experience went well, however, it was when I contacted them for business book keeping/taxes purposes things went down hill. I just need someone to do books for me a couple times a year but they want you to be a monthly client for $200 a month 2 hour max $90 an hour after that. When I mentioned that I don't have a lot of transactions and that $200 a month just wasn't in my budget and that I would like to do it semiannual or yearly I was told even though they estimate something like that would only take 5-6 hours worth of work that they would still charge me the $200 a month for every month from the year even though I would be only doing it yearly or semiannual. So what they are saying is even though it would only be 5-6 hours worth of work totaling $540 if it was 6 hours they would still charge me $2400 for 12 months of book keeping. Steer clear of this place.

Although the phone call started out professional enough, it quickly dissolved. I made contact on behalf of my employer to get pricing quotes for Payroll Services and I was promptly told that 'They do not offer quotes' and to "Go find someone else." I am unsure what their business model is. Do they expect people to sign up blind and get a surprise charge later? Needless to say that I am quite displeased.
