This is not necessarily bad depending on which side you're on. They are not afraid to use tactics to prolong a simple process and wear the opponent down to where they are penniless and homeless in the middle of winter. If there's a loophole, they use it. They made sure we had nothing before they would even send a settlement offer after their client dropped dead at the wheel and almost killed us. My girlfriend and I will probably never work again, but these guys got free advertising. Cudos!

Trent Bush has treated our family with respect, kindness and professionalism. His office is always available for any questions/concerns. I would highly recommend Trent and this office to anyone needing legal advice.

EDIT: Only after posting this review did the business contact us. Then, afterwards, because we hadn't removed it because they hadn't resolved our case, they threatened us and then charged us fraudulently for time they never spent. We had to find a new attorney to file probate and then pay both. After losing my mom, being taken advantage of, and then forced to pay for two attorneys is a pretty terrible experience.

My mom recently passed after drafting a will with this firm. They’ve refused to get back with us after months of no return calls. Each time we’ve called, they said they’ll get back to us and then don’t. Her wishes are very important to us, and it’s pretty awful that as little time as it would take to finish what we need done isn’t worth it. After losing a mom, we shouldn’t have to fight with a law firm, too.

I would not recommend this firm for trust/probate concerns.

You would think people that work here would be more empathetic towards someone who just lost a family member. Completely unacceptable how they treated my wife when she lost her mom. They were terrible getting back to her and then after not being any help at all, sent her a bill. Please no one ever use this place.

Attorney Kyle Carlock was great to work with in preparing our will. He was knowledgeable in giving us advice we needed. He listened and gave well thought out replies in helping us to make the decision we thought best for our needs. The entire process was completed with excellent communication and complete professionalism. If you are looking for an attorney who is great to work with I can't recommend Ward, Murray, Pace & Johnson and Kyle highly enough!

Very happy to be back with Ward, Murray, Pace & Johnson. Kyle Carlock is top-notch and did an excellent job of explaining everything while updating my trust, will, and POA documents. He went above and beyond and his communication via phone calls and emails are swift and beyond reproach. One of the best experiences I have had with attorneys.

This review encompasses dealings I've had with this firm representing municipalities and subsequent issues within their councils regarding elected officials including myself, city employees, and unfair treatment from the city attorney. Communications, or lack thereof, from June 16th 2022 and multiple instances after, left much to be desired and left myself feeling as if the people in charge of handling legal matters within the city are actually just there to save a city's reputation. I believe a direct quote was 'the city lawyer is not a sword or shield for anyone but the mayor' when the unprofessional, demeaning, and abusive conduct this mayor made was formally reported. Instead of handling issues, this firms representative opted for a 'get over it' response at best, with other issues being mostly ignored.

Leading me to note: 'Lost emails' (another direct excuse from the representative of this firm) are just excuses to not deal with issues at hand, and ignoring further communications just writes off problems instead of professionally dealing with them promptly.

Thus is my 1 star experience with WMPJ.

I have worked with several people in the Sterling office and have been very satisfied with the service. In the last few years I have had the opportunity to work very closely with our attorney settling my Mother's estate. He was very accessible, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. I also worked with a real estate attorney and the accountant on staff. I would definitely recommend this office. Everyone is very professional.
