I can no longer call the store directly. I've had questions about the device I bought there and couldn't call them on the phone. You get customer service instead and they interrogate you about why you need their number. I would finally get sick of it and just drive over to the store to get a very simple question answered!!!
My whole reason for buying a terribly expensive phone at this facility was to be able to access them quickly. I'm not a tech person and can accidentally hit a button and mess things up. Prior to all these changes I could call the store, explain what I did, and they would quickly help me correct it. Considering the cost of the phone itself and the cost of the monthly plan, I think it is horrific to have to be screened before they will connect you to the Anna store. Poor, poor, poor, customer service practices!
I paid off my phone and cancelled my monthly plan (and found a cheaper and much better plan) due to these circumstances and the fact that they cannot seem to keep well informed employees. I will say that Adam was extremely good and helpful to me during our few interactions. But that's the only positive addition I can make to this review.
For those of you who have had positive dealings with this store, or more importantly Verizon itself, I am very happy for you. Unfortunately that was not my case
I would add one more thing. When I closed my monthly plan on 8/19/24, I paid my bill, however I still had a refund of $52 coming. They were to credit my bank account. I am still waiting for the refund! I have talked to customer service twice about this and both times they have verified that I am entitled to the refund and it would be in my bank account.

I stopped in this local Anna IL Victra owned Verizon store on February 20, 2024 for assistance deleting a phone line I no longer needed on my account. The young lady working was very unprofessional and lacking customer service skills. She absolutely refused to provide me assistance once I questioned her. I asked if her supervisor was available and was told no. I then asked for a business card so I could contact the supervisor on another day, she advised the supervisor was on PTO and she was the supervisor and I could not be put in contact with anyone supervising her. Hard to believe. I would not recommend this store outlet for service or products. When you provide a customer service based product, you had better be Great at customer service!!! Today was not the day for this location.

Yes I worked here for a very long time and this has nothing to do with this review. My 90 yr old grandpa came in for a phone that was ordered and then came back with a different junk flip phone. He did not know how to use it and the lady just forgot to order his. She told him it was the same type of phone which is was not. It’s very frustrating for older people to work phones anyhow but then to just stick him with whatever phone they had is uncalled for. I contacted customer service and they credited him back and they are mailing him the device he asked for. I mean really was all that really even necessary!?! So, if you can’t get the phone they want you just tell them it’s the same device which in reality is not just so she could get the sale. Ridiculous!!
