Allison is an amazing lawyer and who strives to understand their clients point of view and bring the best arguement forth when you work with her. She was a literal godsend in my custody battle and it’s hard to find great women lawyers who will fight for the child’s dad. Vawter Law was the best choice for our family. Alison and her staff have a wealth of experience and knowledge. Mrs. Vawter took the time to hear my concerns and issues regarding my case and gave me the appropriate advise to proceed in the case. Mrs. Vawter was willing to fight to make sure the case outcome was truly in the best interest of my child not just what outcome I wanted. The communication from Mrs. Vawter's office is hard to come by from most law offices. They make sure to always answer my questions and concerns within a timely manner. Mrs. Vawter was the absolute best in our child custody case! Our consultation with her was a great experience, we went in to the meeting nervous and unsure of our options but Alison took the time to listen to our concerns, our needs and our views for what was in the best interest of the child involved, and gave us clear options on how to proceed! Mrs. Vawter was able to get our case moving and closed in a fair amount of time! (The whole case would have been settled a lot quicker had it not been for opposing counsel) The entire

I have never been though any legal situations before. I was extremely taken back and nervous about the whole issue at hand. I utilized Alison Vawter at Vawter law in Macomb. All of the staff in her office are pleasant,helpful and understanding. Becky did an awesome job of keeping me informed of anything I needed to do and what to expect going forward. She was always in attendance with Alison so she was on top of everything as well. As for Alison. I can't say enough. First let me say she is honest . Our phone consultation didn't take as long as normal so she credited my account. She is knows her job well and works hard for her clients. She treated my entire family with the same respect and kindness.
She and or Becky try to be as available as possible and always return calls. I hope I never have to have an attorney again but if I do it will be Vawter Law.

Vawter Law Ltd. is more than a five star law office. My divorce case began in April 2020 in the beginning of COVID-19 pandemic. It started in Illinois and I had to relocate the same year to the east coast. The divorce was finalized in 2023 but it took until August 2024 to receive the final settlement from the divorce. During that time Alison, Becky, Traci, Maggie and Frances were always very professional and patient regarding my interstate divorce. Alison and Becky were so thoughtful and quit humorous at times throughout the process. They are both very knowledgeable and very quick to respond. Vawter Law is highly recommended. Thank you Alison, Becky, Traci, Maggie and Francis. I will miss you all but I will never forget you.

Alison did a great job with my fiancé's custody case. After a brutal multiple year long case she never failed at communicating with us about what was going on, letting us know next steps, and keeping realistic expectations. The case was high stress from the first court date all the way to the last and she held her ground and fought hard for what he needed. She didn't hesitate to be there whenever we needed her and pushed for what would keep the children and the adults safe to the best of her abilities. She was so easy to work with and we have given her high praises to numerous people around us who were in need of assistance.
