We have had the privilege of working with Kathy on 2 separate occasions. The first instance was when our son passed away, and his estate went into probate. Having a legal structure in place to place to specify 'what happens if x event occurs' is a not necessarily an easy topic to confront. Kathy walked me through the estate planning process, answered all of my questions, explained various options, and created legal documents that reflect my wishes.

I discovered during the process that I really did not know or understand all of the key elements of a comprehensive plan and why each element is important for certain situations. Kathy was able to explain everything in easy to understand terms. In retrospect the process was not difficult and I am very thankful that she guided me through each step.

kathy underwood is a journeyman in this arena. her life's work has been in estate law; trust, wills and sorting through the complexities of those issues. she 'flat fees' certain specific services and then charges almost too fairly for an hourly rate considering outside of the court she knows as much or more than the lawyers...

i'm a dentist and people trusted me with their health and i took that responsibility quite seriously...that is the way she approaches her help for you and yours. she's a professional in the area of estate law and fulfilling the decedent's wishes.

the trick is call, plan and simplify before you 'can't'.
