My experience with Trademarkia has been incredibly frustrating, and I wouldn’t recommend their services. I paid upfront for their Standard Plan without much guidance on which plan would suit my needs. After speaking with the assigned lawyer, I realized that the process would be long and require ongoing attention, so the Quarterly Subscription would have been a better fit. However, when I reached out to their customer service to switch plans, the problems began.

I first requested the change on May 3rd, but Trademarkia didn’t respond for a week. When I followed up on May 8th, someone finally replied, but they didn’t resolve the issue. Their customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful, refusing to assist me in making adjustments after I had more information about the complexities of my case. Instead, they pushed all responsibility onto the assigned lawyer, leaving both me and the lawyer to deal with the situation.

The trademark application hasn’t even started, yet I’ve already faced delays, poor communication, and a lack of professionalism. It’s clear they don’t prioritize helping their customers or providing quality service. I ultimately decided to cancel my order and request a full refund. If you’re considering Trademarkia, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere to avoid the same hassle.

Considering Trademarkia? Run—Don’t Walk—Away.

If you’re researching Trademarkia before using them, congratulations. You’re already smarter than I was. I wish I had done the same.

Pricing – Classic Bait-and-Switch
They lure you in with a $99 price point, but read the fine print (which they won’t explain upfront), and you’ll quickly realize you’re in for $299 + government fees—barely the tip of the iceberg. By the time my Website Name and Tagline were finally submitted and approved, I was nearly $5,000 in the hole.

Why? Because what they don’t tell you is that trademarking is a multi-step, multi-class process—and they’ll nickel and dime you every step of the way. Oh, and watch out for their $99/month trademark monitoring fee—they automatically enroll you, and I only caught it after months of useless charges.

Customer Service – Nonexistent
If there were an award for worst customer service, Katie, my so-called attorney, would win it. She ignored emails, dodged calls, and dragged her feet for months. It took two months of constant follow-ups and escalating frustration before they finally submitted my Statement of Use (SOU) on the deadline day—after sitting on everything they needed for two whole months. Had I not emailed and called daily for the last week, they absolutely would have missed the deadline.

Their support staff? Foreign outsourced assistants who provide conflicting, often incorrect information—adding to the chaos rather than resolving it.

Bottom Line – Stay Away
Save yourself the headache, stress, and money. Find a reputable local trademark attorney and pay a couple of grand to get it done correctly and without the nightmare.

My experience with Trademarkia was, hands down, the worst professional service I have ever encountered. Proceed at your own risk.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I paid nearly $1,800 thinking it covered the trademark application, but it only included a legal review. The actual filing costs are extra, and they don’t make that clear. They kept asking the same questions and requesting more money. After multiple complaints, I finally got 60% refunded. Misleading service. Not worth it.

Very unhappy they almost missed my deadline and it took me emailing many different people and calling to finally get the attention of my attorney.

It seems they take on too many clients and don't give each the attention it deserves. Expect to wait wait days or weeks for a response to an email pertaining to the work in scope of your agreement with them.
