Let's be honest. The lady that issues the tabs couldn't be any slower. You will make better time by going to chehalis.

I went to Morton today and I met Ashley (examiner for Road test) she was really friendly and not only that she will give you chance to ask before the test which I believed everyone does but in my experienced to her she was very nice. Since English is my second language I asked her to speak slowly for me so that I can understand all the instructions. She was very understandable person. I recommended this place to take your Road test. Aside from very small town you will meet friendly employee. Thank you very much!!!!

After thinking I had to go to Centralia (twice) for new state license and then registration, was ecstatic to realize that I only had to travel 2 miles, and could do both in a single visit! DOL website doesn’t even include Morton DOL office or Timber Town Licensing as options (although I learned after the fact that Lewis County website does). Although separate entities, they share space in a single building and DOL staff were very helpful and friendly. Owner Elizabeth of Timber Town Licensing was equally knowledgeable and helpful in painlessly getting me through the vehicle registration process. I was so happy/surprised to walk out with my new plates (rather than waiting 6 weeks for them to arrive my mail).

Elizabeth is a very accomodating and likeable person in the vehicle licensing dept. She always has a smile and makes us feel welcomed. She gets us through quickly without long wait times. That's a plus.
