I am here highly recommending Colleen Thomas to be your attorney if you are dealing with painful and complicated devoicing process. She is very strong and professional, and respectful. English is my second language, I was afraid of how to describe the situation to a professional people, Colleen was so patient and kindness, she listened to me carefully, peacefully and gave me her full of compassion. When you talk to her, you can feel she is not only an attorney, but also your sister who understand your pain and support your life! Also she responds you very fast, she works after 5:00pm. My ex-husband and I were amicable and drafted the terms of our divorce settlement. We hired Colleen to turn our terms into a valid agreement and to navigate the court system. She met with us to ensure we understood what we were agreeing to, line by line, and to filter out any doubts. She stayed in contact and explained each step of the process as we advanced. After signing the final settlement agreement, however, my ex turned into a completely different person. Not trustworthy AT ALL. Seeks her own benefit. I do not recommend colleen thomas. She had her own agenda and lacked to communicate what was proceeding. Upon dismissing her services she enraged and stuck me with a bill for a document I didn't know she was working on nor had obtained. When questioned about it she mails the document with strikeouts through it and still expected to collect payment on it. Sadly the lawyers and judges often play this circus game and common people get caught in this injustice system. Don't bother using her services, you will regret it. 9years later she continues to bill me- she is a nightmare😤

She likes to tear apart family’s, if she know you going throw difficulties in marriage she will start calling one of the parties being bad influence to get divorced.
She will sant emails during the weekends after business working hours just so she can get a case to make money. All she does about money
I spoke with couple lawyer I got told she is nasty evil.

1. Did not provide a fee agreement.
2. Did not have a contract.
3. Surprised me with a huge bill that was padded past the date of representation.
4. Filed appearance in multiple jurisdictions, whereby getting me in trouble and accused of forum shopping.
5. Broke attorney client privilege and discussed my case and bill with a member of my family not involved in the case.
6. After the statute of limitations for a verbal contract passed, (though we didn’t have ANY AGREEMENT) she filed suit simultaneously in two jurisdictions.
7. She allowed both to proceed until one jurisdiction was kind enough to Mail a letter to me about the case being postponed- or I would have had no idea it existed at all. When confronted, and only after confronted, she cancelled the duplicate suit.
8. She continued to not serve me notice or orders, though she affirmed in court that she had. (Waiting for the proof of her service attempts)
9. She continued in court without proper service, whereby getting a default judgement against me.

I will be following up with all applicable channels.
