Let me preface this review with the acknowledgement that I had a very contentious case and we knew my ex-husband would be difficult during this process from the very beginning. I retained them with the understanding that they were good at mediating and getting us to an reasonable outcome. They were very nice during the whole process and I really liked Gina and Tania.

However, I am very dissatisified with the representation that I received from this firm and their inability to handle things appropriately, cost effectively or in a timely manner. I didn't feel like I was being represented. I was simply a case that was being kept afloat as it was passed through the system.
They were very poor with their communication. Paperwork was not filed in a timely manner which led to confusion and extra costs associated with court dates, thier time, and combining cases. They were however, very precise and detailed when it came to the invoices, billing and payments.
They were very laxed in filing motions to get things accomplished and moving. I had to make suggestions to get the information that we needed and get my case to go in the right direction.
My other main concern was that I told them that he made me feel unsafe in my home. I sent them countless instances documenting his abusive behavior, tried to get orders of protection and get him out of my house for months. They told me that it was a "heavy burden" to prove what was going on. They didn't take me seriously until the end when I had to ask them to withdraw from the case.
In the end I spent over $20,000 for their representation and only have 1 Temporary Order and the Allocation Judgement to show for it. The amount of money spent on emails and poor communication is astounding.
It was a very frustrating situation and I hope I can help someone who needs stronger representation during the most difficult times of their lives.
