Aaron Kaslan from this firm represented my neighbor and I in a restraining order against the neighbor from hell. In short, we have a restraining order now thanks to Aaron. Aaron worked diligently on our case even with short notice. He went through an abundance of evidence to sort what the judge would actually care about. He was even prepared for trial if it should go in that direction. The case was resolved in a hearing that Aaron was well prepared for. Aaron was a strong representative even when said neighbor tried bullying him during proceedings. I would hire him again but truly hope we don’t have to. Thank you so much Aaron for helping my family be safe at home.

If there was a zero star I would give it, this law firm was absolutely horrible, I had my lawyer changed 3 times because people kept quitting. I was getting assistance for an adoption which they told me would be no more than 4-6 months if both parties agreed it took over a year and I had to resend information over and over because they for some reason or another didn't have it. When the adoption was finalized I realized I never received my child's updated birth certificate to this day, when I reached out to the lawyer who assisted me if that would be something he would be willing to resend to the state he had the audacity to ask for another $800+ retainer when I asked if it could be waived since I had so many issues prior he said that they don't work like that. When I asked to have my file sent to me or I would be willing to pick it up they stated that they would not be willing to do so. I would never recommend this law firm.

I have been involved in an extremely complex divorce where my husband, self-employed in real estate for 45 years, has sheltered assets, including our primary residence, through partnerships. His ventures span construction, investments, rentals, and assisted living facilities.
I initially retained attorney Wazhma Mojaddidi, who handled my case for three years. Our communication was limited to calls and emails, apart from a Zoom meeting and a deposition. After depleting nearly $30,000 on my credit cards, she withdrew, leaving me to proceed Pro Per.
I later hired Rana Law Firm on an hourly basis, believing it to be cost-effective. However, at $525 an hour, progress was minimal, as meetings often focused on critiquing my work rather than advancing the case. When my funds were exhausted, he withdrew, citing health issues.
After returning to Pro Per, I hired Aaron Kaslan of D. Martin Law Firm. Initially cautious due to prior experiences, I was impressed by his professionalism, expertise, and direct approach. Aaron is candid yet tactful, meticulous in understanding my case, and willing to research when necessary. His commitment to navigating the layers of deception and overlapping lawsuits has been invaluable.
While Aaron acknowledges the challenges of proving my husband’s years of deception, concealment, and criminal activity, he emphasizes that divorce court requires indisputable evidence, not speculation. I made the mistake of using David Martin's office for a year and a half. To be fair, my daughters mom is very vindictive and made the process as difficult as possible but Davids office simply doesn't have the tools to handle a complex case. After wasting 35k with his office and now having a more capable attorney it has been brought to my attention the vast amount of mistakes that were made on his part that will continue to cost me valuable time with my daughter. If you have a civil partner and just need paperwork filed they MIGHT be able to help you but if you have a ex who will be challenging in a divorce or child custody PLEASE for your sake keep looking for an attorney. The amount of mistakes made on his part throughout my case is simply beyond what I can describe here.

For anyone reading these reviews, please notice that all of the negative reviews have many thumbs up agreeing with them. I don't see too many positive reviews that have people agreeing. These family courts are very corrupt. Please do yourself a favor and find a competent law office if you decide that that is the best route for you. In my situation having the mistakes that they made on my case are going to cost me years with my child. They continually made mistakes that I had to pay for not only financially but with loss of time with my child. Stop reading these reviews and start looking for a different attorney. I truly don't know how these people are still in business.

The Law Office of David Martin and Associates are the worse lawyers I have ever seen. David and his employee, Aaron Kaslan, need to go out of business. This office has no empathy, respect, or professionalism when it comes to working with the opposing party. Aaron has been very disrespectful, had lied, had used bullying tactics all because he is well paid by my husband to represent him. My lawyer and I are totally disgusted at Aaron's behavior.
