This is an excellent resource for the community to help abused children through advocacy. Forensic interviewing is important as well as eliminating the need for court testimony because interviews have been completed by this agency. They work directly with the Department of Child Services and Law Enforcement in the local community. They give children a voice whenever it is felt they don't have one. Kudos to Sheryl Woodard, that has long been a staple in the community to help the children of the area. I cannot say enough good things about this agency. It has been around for a long time now. Services are thorough and carefully handled. It is important that children have a voice. Social work is needed to provide this. It is agencies like The Guardian Center that assist children and families with bringing their situations or experiences to justice. I highly recommend this agency if you are in need of a voice for your child due to abuse.
