Tarris Law was truly an amazing firm who has helped me greatly. The people (Mr. Jonathan Tarris & Ms. Jessica)are very kind and make the process smooth and easy. Ms. Jessica helped guide me through all the forms, Tests, Certificates and exams needed fir my case and made sure everything was in order. This firm is truly amazing and can not thank them enough for all there help.... Initially when I did my search for an attorney, I saw that Mr. Tarris was rated a 4.6 so thought I would be dealing with total professionalism but this was not the service that I received. I contacted Mr. Tarris because I needed to find out information and assistance regarding a very important situation in ref to an elderly parent. Our first interaction was a scheduled telecom. I was not contacted at the scheduled time so I contacted Mr Tarris’ office and spoke with Jessica who informed me that Mr Tarris was not available for our appointment. He ended up calling me later that day. We discussed the reason that I required assistance and set up the next appointment. On the date of that appointment, Mr Tarris did not arrive at the scheduled time and I did not receive any notification letting me know that he would not be available so I contacted his office and spoke with Jessica who informed me that Mr Tarris was on his way to Christiansburg and that she was not aware of my appointment. I hope this was an isolated incident but I surely won’t be contacting them again to find out. No one should have to experience this level of unprofessionalism when they are trying to be helpful to someone else.

I have known Jonathan for over 20 years; he was the first student I had as a drum instructor when I was in college, and I have always liked and had tremendous respect for him. My respect for him as a lawyer is newly acquired, though, and I couldn't be more thankful that I called him! Although I won’t go into detail, I will say that he helped me resolve a terrible situation that could have become a significant burden on my life. By the time I met Jonathan, I had already met with other lawyers and talked to countless people; I was almost convinced that I wasn’t going to be able to find someone who could help me. After meeting with Jon for the first time, I knew I had made the right decision and already felt worlds of weight lifted off my shoulders, and he continued to do that until we went to court. Finding someone you can trust and rely on these days is becoming tougher and tougher, and Jon’s knowledge of his field, his ability to think outside of the box, and the work he puts into making sure the clients are taken care of are all things that are truly needed when dealing with legal matters; from my experience, they are hard to find. If you're looking for a top-notch lawyer who will fight for you in speeding court, Jonathan is it. He and his team are professional, knowledgeable, and get results! Anytime we reached out to them for guidance through the process they were incredibly responsive and informative. Jonathan was able to get the reckless driving speeding ticket dismissed with just the required miniscule court fee and a few hours of community service.
