The people on the phone when you call are very friendly but when you go in the staff are awful! I had never been to this location before but I had to coming from Sylacauga. When I first arrived the building was nice but in order to get your drivers license you have to go to the basement. Down in the literal basement they had signage up but it was very misleading & confusing if you have never been before. When I went to one desk, the lady who was sitting there was nonchalant & on FaceTime with her child nearly the entire time! She told me I had to wait in line & get on the sign in sheet in another room bc apparently I had to get an old state ID removed from records. My question is, why did I have to go to a whole other spot that mind you, does permit tests, road tests, star ID, etc. to get that removed when this lady who was on FT did drivers license/CDL renewal only Meanwhile, while I was waiting, the only employee in this other room had to go do a road test! There was no other staff who was there to keep the line moving! Very horrible experience & I will not be back!
