This Summit legal charade is the best example of wasted taxpayer dollars I have ever learned of. Total incompetence of quasi-professional lawyers who stumble over their own mistakes. State and Federal investigators should be asked to investigate the low-quality of public service being heaped upon the unsuspecting citizens of Washington and Westmoreland Counties. We deserve more!!!!!

Scam. Says they’ll represent you for free then wants your income amount only to make up the excuse that you’re a “conflict of interest”. Do not go here if you need help with domestic abuse

It’s hit or miss! I had a FANTASTIC P. defender… Pat Fitch for my criminal cases- he got saved me from hell, got me outta jail and back home to my kids an animals. Other hand have another P. defender for my other case an not once in almost 2 whole months has she said a word to me, called me. Returned my calls anything… nothin… so I’m NOT happy and will be firing her . I realize they are low cost- free … attorneys but cmon… if you’re not gonna defend me, not discussing a darn thing about the situation and being lied to…then why even do this job? Pat Fitch & Kristen are Amazing tho!!

It would be lower if I wasn't dealing with two attorneys. The receptionist is a sweetheart to have to deal with me or anyone else. Always so pleasant. Trying to get callbacks and updates is worse than pulling teeth. I have to call for a couple weeks before going through the front desk for a return call. My one case I've done almost everything and have nothing to show for it. My other one she's at least doing her due diligence to win it even though it's a little slow.

So far not well I had a PFA hearing that I asked are you working for me or for the person I'm doing this PFA on...I have a new a legal aid & have been waiting for a call back from for 3wks now. I did get good advice from 1 person there named Joe S. But besides that I don't know what to say about it maybe I'll change it once I get more information or EVEN A CALL BACK From my new attorney on a different case which I haven't Heard from & I left multiple messages on voicemail.

My lawyer has been a huge blessing. She works tirelessly with all her cases and even still, she keeps up with my case and she has definately went the extra mile for my extreme circumstances. I also had another attorney here for a pfa case and he was extremely helpful. Especially when a paid attorney is not an option, it has made me that much more grateful for this much needed service. I'm also grateful that large case loads have not impacted my case.
