I had a great experience at this library. On the outside, it doesn't look like much but looks are deceiving! The inside is decked out- there are study rooms, individual study pods, a workroom for projects/crafts/woodwork, a house plant exchange, etc. Most importantly, librarians Beth-who showed me around and clearly loves what she does-and Sophia (Sofia?) were so sweet and brought a lot of heart to this beautiful library. I feel privileged to live and work in two great counties that bring so much value to their communities. As a kid, I grew up going to Chantilly regional and my young mind was nourished by the books I read at the library and the resources I had access to at the library. We have to protect community centers like the library- they are absolutely vital to our culture, development, and growth.

This is such a great place to study. It’s super quiet, plenty of seating and has a relaxed atmosphere. They also have this cute plant station where you can exchange propagations. I think I’ll definitely be back in the future!

Pros: lots of activities scheduled, reasonably clean and organized

Cons: book selection is pretty crappy, evening librarians are uptight and loud, security blatantly followed me into the bathroom and outside. Didn’t feel welcome at all. I’d feel more welcome at the McDonalds across the street. It’s amazing how one can mess up an experience at a damn library. Take the extra few minutes and visit cascades up the road, if you need books and a safe place to hang out.

This library is awesome! I love spending time here. They have tons of books to read and they always have computers and seats open for everybody. I've never seen it get too busy here which is shocking because it's such an awesome place. There study rooms very quite and comfy to study in.

Librarians are very rude and discriminate against people trying to get work done. With headphones in on a video call meeting I was interrupted in the middle and I was put into a tiny room with no work space and had to work from the floor because they said my voice was a problem even though I wasn’t being loud and there were not a lot of people in the library at the time. I will never be returning here again and will never bring my kids here.

I needed to print a document I was missing for my DMV appointment and the library and their staff was very helpful and convenient. They had access to computers and printers and I was in and out in 5-10mins.

Library is okay. But they should keep at least 1 computer in each study room too. Because students need to study quietly who doesn’t have laptops or computers. Also library should secure the access of all kinds of peoples, last day 1 women (maybe mad or so) about to scared me purposely, why I was walking or about to seat next to her in other computer. It’s ridiculous. Authorities should read this review. Thank you
