Had a lawyer change the day before court. Papers won't be filed after asking and having them in place. Sam is trash Chris is ego trash. Don't use this place. Know your rights. Nothing but games here. Calling the supervisor is a bigger joke. This whole building can go to hell.

Hours of operation are posted incorrectly. I called at 4:36 and received a voice mail system that stated the office was already closed for the day. So be sure to know your attorneys extention when calling or expect not to be contacted back until the following day or so, which isn't helpful if your concern is possibly regarding court the following morning. Other then that the 2 public defenders I have worked with have actually been quite great at what they do and should not be classified under the talk of "public pretenders".

Completely and totally restored my faith in public defenders! Taylor Severn and her associates put a lot of time and effort into defending my case , and their hard work showed thru when my charges were reduced dramatically and the sentence was nominal compared to what the Prosecutor was offering to me in the first place . I was and still am super stoked!

I am very pleased with Amy Jones & The SCPDA. My case was completely dismissed thanks to Amy's help.

If the need ever arise in the future I know I would ask specifically for her help.

Thanks again!

Something is wrong when the same people pay both public defender's and prosecutor's paychecks. Weird that the caller ID from public defender's office shows Global Advisory, a Rothschild & Co. company. Shame that only people with lots of money can afford legal services that actually impact your court experience in a positive way. Im grateful for any services rendered by public defender's office. I thank them very much.
