We hired Steven to do a probate for my husband's father. It has taken 2 years to reach a settlement, with a few complications, but overall he did not respond to our phone calls and emails and charged us 20,000$ at least for his services. In the end we only ended up getting a 1/4 of the real estate sold, and he didn't try to fight the issues we had with the tenants on the land. Sometimes it felt like he was representing the other heirs for the wife's estate. We hardly got a statement for his services, and when we requested one, he lumped his services as labor costs. The entire time we were frustrated with how he handled the issues at hand and rarely got a straight answer from him. He made decisions without going through the personal representative which cost us more money than it should have. I wouldn't recommend him unless you want to be overcharged. Very disappointed

I scheduled a consultation with Mr. Schneider to answer some questions about renting our home. He was knowledgable and helpful. Of note, I called 4 law offices that couldn't make an appointment for me -- Mr. Schneider's office got me in the next day.

When I spoke with Steven and we were discussing the issue I was having with some renters and that I needed to do an eviction. I explained to him that they would not go easy and that we would have to go court and that I wanted a worst case scenario price. In the end we didn't end up going to court and it ended up costing me more money than we had discussed. The only reason we didn't go to court was because Steven wanted to give them a bunch of concessions (at my expense) for them to move. I was very disappointed in the way my case was handled. During the initial conversation he assured me that he would aggressively represent me. In the end I feel like he was the best attorney that my renters had.

No stars. This man will be investigated! In a probate case, he didn't represent his clients but rather helped the other parties rob his clients of their inheritance. When he was asked for an itemized statement, he listed labor costs for most everything at astronomical prices, $1200 one day, and 4 days later, he charged almost 1500. He did not uphold his oath, did not do his job, was never available, and was completely ignorant in his field. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE CALL THIS FRAUD!
Old man, we suggest you retire quickly.

As a business owner for decades it seems that we had to change law firms every couple of years because they eventually dropped the ball. That is not the case with Steven Schneider's firm. Since 2008 he has given us sound advise, excellent representation and he is always prepared. As a matter of fact, the first year after we hired his firm he spent much of his time successfully repairing the legal mess our previous attorney left us with. We couldn't be happier with his workmanship and his hands on personal service. I would recommend his firm to anyone that desires hands on, competent representation.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE. Most lawyers have a receptionist that can't answer any legal questions, want forms filled out, to schedule an appointment next week and want a $175 fee just to talk to a lawyer. Steven answered the phone and gave me about 20 minutes of free advice plus several follow up calls. Steven is a landlords kind of guy, to deal with bad renters. I hired Steven for an eviction after I had time to consider all my options.
