I have spoken and worked with many -- many -- immigration lawyers and law firms. They vary considerably in their quality of service, experience, and expertise; moreover, many of them are willing and ready to take your money from you, with minimal value added to you and often with unrealistic promises (I wish it weren't so, but it is that way).

Working with Steven, his practice, and his entire team was a wonderful experience. They are thoughtful, genuine, and, most importantly, caring and kind. Steven and his team were willing to assess my case, talk with me about the best way forward, consider options, and tell me about the most efficient way to resolve things; and he acts as a true fiduciary to his clients and their interests. What I found about this firm is that, working closely with them, they are interested in quality and results and doing things the right way. As mentioned above, you will not find this with many firms; many are merely interested in structuring a contract that gives them "the best deal."

A fool and his money are soon parted, and if you "jump at the first law firm" you see with a slick website, you may end up with a stream of cash going out the door and dim prospects for success. Steven and his team are experienced and attentive. With some firms and lawyers, you are "handed off" from day 1 to someone else and also (after you pay), you suddenly lose their attention -- your emails and calls go unanswered and they, on the other hand, are "off to the next sales pitch." This was NOT the case with Steven and his practice.

I presented my case, prior to presenting it to Steven and his team, to other immigration attorneys and they had, literally, no helpful insight (that is to say, nothing more than I could glean from looking at the internet). Steven's team assessed each and every aspect of the case and provided a nuanced and thoughtful analysis and, importantly, a strategic way forward.
