I am writing this review although my case has yet to be settled in the family courts. I have been going through a contentious divorce for 2 1/2 years. The respondent has admitted to the judge how much he had in his banking account. However I was only granted a small amount of Spousal Support based on the respondent's lie of what he stated he makes on a monthly basis. (which did not match his balance in his account) We owned a Co. together and I was taken off during the ATRO's. No repercussions have yet been given to the respondent after all this time. I contiue to receive continuance from the r hearings, which I have to pay an attorney to attend. I have thousands of pages of proof for which the attorneys have, however it is not been brought to my attention whether or not the judge/commissioner has. I went to court January 9th of 2024. The respondent agreed to a temporary special support and arrears payment. However fail to follow through with the signed order. And now a year later, I will be attending Court in January 2025 for the respondents contempt charges. Why it took a year to address the contempt charges is beyond me! Considering I have all the proof that shows that this respondent has done nothing but be untruthful to the court, his documentation, police officers and the judge. I will edit my review based on my next court hearing. As two and a half years is a very long time. And no matter how much subpoenaed information I have regarding the respondent, it doesn't seem to help me with my case. I am hoping that when I go to court in a few weeks, that will change.

I have never had any issues with this particular Courthouse while I was working or when attending. Jyst recently I attended a court hearing and as usual the judges have the utmost respect and genuine responses to each individual I don't understand why people don't come to their court cases when the judges here are generally trying to do everyone favors and keep them out of trouble with the law. With that said it amazes me how people can come to the courtrooms dressed like bums wearing regular street clothes in front of the judge. Sure they may not say anything but it shows a huge amount of respect to come formally dressed even if the outcome isn't in your favor.

On the other hand response to getting paperwork filed is an issue because the work hours for government is so short and there's always a lot to be done it makes it very hard for people to have relief in their situation meaning they have to work long hours sometimes up to 10 or 12 hours. I do understand that there's a complete process that goes on behind the scenes for the government workers to get the papers processed but on the outside, it looks like you're not working much at all and that is an issue across states.

I have been trying to file my divorce with this office via mail. They keep sending the forms back for corrections, and that is fine because it's my first time going through this process, I'm expecting a few mostakes. But after 10 attempts to ammend my summons they stop sending me my mail and provide no support. They just said I can't complete my file any more. Very unhelpful personnel. I hope no one is unfortunate enough to have to go through any process with san bernardino court.

This county is bankrupt meaning they are extremely short staffed and the clerks that they do have are clueless and under trained.

10/6/22. The Self Help staff are amazing. They were friendly and did things in an organized and timely manner. The security were all very nice.

However, my low rating is for the Clerk Office needs major improvement with the waiting time, long lines and it taking two hours to have paper work filed. More organization and more staff are needed to accommodate the long lines.

The girls at the self help window were nice and helpful, but the women at the family law place on the 2nd floor were rude and seem to hate their jobs. Just remember, you all are "public servants".
