I went in for an energy and saw that today they had deal that as a member there was a buy one get one free for the bang energy drink, however when I checked out I was charged for two drink after I had entered my membership phone number. I then asked the cashier, isn't those buy one get one free, but the cashier just said it has been discontinued but when I looked at the screen, the discount was only for the hot wheel toy and not the energy drink

This is our main grocer. They have been here since 1968. Friendly staff. They contribute to local activities. update 12 19 24. they have a very good produce section that includes organics. the produce staff are very conscientious and take pride in making sure everything looks good. in addition special orders are available. I have requested items not regularly carried and they get them quickly. this is also true of the meat dept. The head butcher will special order items and generally answer questions and cut your selections if needed. very helpful. Deli is also very good and the folks there are also extremely helpful, friendly and quick. Using the app gets points that we use for money off gas. you can get a dollar off a gallon at Safeway fuel stations in Redding, which is only a 50 minute drive.

$$$ as in Expensive. I don't know what happened to the store but recently it has changed a lot most of the advertisement you find that is either not in stock or it misrepresented for example the meat department 88 cents a pound for pork chops sirloin chops or roasts when you get there all they have is the Roast and right next to them pork chops at a dollar 99 a pound but they say it's not the value pack that's on sale even though it's a large package. I found that the other day now today on the same sale those $1.99 pork chops or 249 right next to the roast that are 88 cents a pound what has happened to management here what has happened to the meat department what has happened to the advertisement that they have and not in stock or very limited so don't be disappointed if you go shopping here and don't get what you want

Our family is fortunate enough to get to use our closest friends family cabin up in montgomery creek, and this Safeway is head and shoulders above the rest. From the first time i came here 11 years ago, this place had it all and more. The selection is unparalled, the prices are real good, and the meat and produce is uncommonly fresh and amazing. I look forward to shopping here when we get up to the cabin every time. Can't wait to get back in the spring!

Clean, staff is friendly, expensive but if you look you can find inexpensive options, also in the Safeway app you can find lots of coupons to clip for a variety of items
