Had a phone consult and made it very clear when I made the appointment I was only trying to get information on what forms I would need to do the process myself, as my divorce was not messy. Then spent two hours and a few hundred dollars to have the majority of my time wasted answering his personal questions of how much we make and background information that was not pertinent. Then once we were past that he kept on and said what he could help do to settle matters instead of clearly answering my basic questions. Sadly a waste of my time and money. Please remember everyone in a divorce if you can do the process pro se and file paperwork yourself you will be better off. The only people who win in divorce cases are the attorneys.

Recently I engaged Mr. Martin to represent me where my ex-wife was attempting to take shared custody of my son. Although Mr. Martin prefers to avoid court and resolve issues collaboratively, previous efforts toward constructive communication with my ex-wife have never been effective. Unfortunately, proceeding to court was my last and only option.
