I had to choose another attorney after mine passed away. This choice was hard due to the complex nature of my case, combined with the fact that my late attorney was not able to finish before he passed. I spoke with Mr. Ray several times about my case and he seemed genuine and I felt comfortable just talking to him about the most difficult time of our lives. I realize each case is different, but in Alabama it is almost impossible for a father to prevail with “sole custody” and that’s just what I got!!! It was not an easy path and I made it a little more complicated due to moving to another county, but Mr. Ray made it work!!! We used email, phone and had paperwork notarized in my “new” county. Please keep in mind Domestic cases take time no matter who you hire, but in my case it seemed to move swiftly once I hired Mr. Ray!!! If you are needing a lawyer I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mr. Ray!!! Fort Payne is loaded with attorneys that are in it just so they can bill those hours, but with Mr. Ray I did NOT encounter that issue, in fact I was quoted a fee and I got MORE than my money’s worth!! I’m not very good giving reviews, so please overlook some of my wording. Bottom line, I consider him the BEST because he took my case and got me all the law would allow!!! I will forever be in his debt, because he helped give my child the gift of a normal life!!
