I've spent a great deal of time (and money) over the years consulting with attorneys in many legal disciplines. Whether it was my starting and running two businesses, or in personal matters, I've found the "quality" spectrum to be surprisingly large.

Having dealt with the nightmare of firing various attorneys mid-stride, it's crystal clear that Preferred Paralegals is a keeper. They are thoroughly professional, sensitive to your individual needs, and excel with (what I consider) the best service any legal service provider can provide: "clear and concise language." It's beyond frustrating when you discuss issues with an attorney, and finish the conversation in a cloud of misunderstanding. You won't have that with Preferred Paralegals. They speak your language, and you can understand all the issues pertinent to your case and your specific situation. Plus they stay true to their motto: “You make the decisions, they do the paperwork.”

Over the years I have dealt with many legal consultants, attorneys, and legal assistants - I highly recommend Preferred Paralegals!

These guys are the REAL DEAL! I had a legal issue that needed to be resolved. Each law firm I contacted quoted me fees in the thousands. Finally Preferred Paralegals was recommended by a neighbor who said they are the best in the bay area. I contacted them and explained my issue. In response, they told me that I didn’t need a paralegal or attorney, I just needed a simple two page judicial council form that was publicly accessible. They printed the form, had me fill it out, and gave me directions to the local courthouse. And just that easy, my legal problems were fixed. I couldn’t believe it. When I later called and asked how much I owed, the owner told me he would not charge me because his staff never actually worked on my case and that I had done all the work myself. He asked me to pay it forward. Oh my God! 5 stars!

Where do I begin with this nightmare? I read the positive reviews and hired Jason to file an amended complaint. I talked to him on the phone and the guy seems extremely professional and knowledgeable. I felt confidant and I paid him on Venmo waiting for him to send my the revisions... and he missed a major MAJOR deadline... all the while promising me over and over "I am sending it to you today".... Then he said it wasn't a big deal that he missed the deadline... (which at this point I am praying he is right) BUT he has promised again and again that he is done and just needs to email me the documents to sign " as soon as he gets into his office"--- yet he never does. That was weeks ago... now he won't return my calls, texts or emails.... Neither will anyone else at their phone number. The damage this guy is causing my family may be beyond words if we miss our filings. The sad part is IF he is as good as he sounds - he would probably be amazing... but he lacks follow thru to the point that he is negligible.

This company deserves more than 5 stars! They helped us get through the apathetic and inefficient courts. When roadblocks were thrown up by the court and attorneys on the other side, they were there to help us get through. They stuck by us throughout the entire case and helped us expedite the proceedings when the court was ignoring us. I would definitely recommend working with Preferred Paralegals if you are representing yourself in court.
