I was injured recently at work, and after initially receiving a payment or two from Workers’ Compensation, they cut off all payments and communication with me. I was stuck with paying for medical bills, and not getting a weekly check while being out of work like I was supposed to, so after researching lawyers, I decided to call Pothitakis Law firm. A no obligation consultation was set up for me to speak with Niko. After speaking with him about my problem, I felt that he not only understood, but would be able to get results for me. When I decided to go with him, he immediately, that same day, started working on my case and calling the workers’ compensation insurance company. He would email me updates on his progress, and if I ever had any questions or anything I didn’t understand, he took the time to reply promptly, or give me a call to discuss things. I have heard from a couple of friends and relatives that have used a lawyer, and they have gone with the big law firms that are advertised on TV. In their cases, since they weren’t a large business or corporation, their case was handed down to someone in the firm with less experience and expertise. They became frustrated with their lawyer, either not getting replies at all to their emails and calls, or waiting a week or two for a response, usually with some excuse. This will not be the case using Niko. Since it is his law firm alone, you will deal directly with him and his competent team. He has decades of experience in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases, and is an expert in these fields. Look up his credentials and awards online, and you will be impressed! By the way, I live an hour and a half away, which wasn’t a problem because most everything was done remotely, via mail, e-mail and Zoom etc., so if you aren’t in the Southeast Iowa area, that is not a problem. My case ultimately ended with a negotiated settlement, which I felt was fair and I was satisfied with. I never would’ve gotten anywhere on my own! If you find yourself in a similar situation, don’t hesitate to call a lawyer, and I would strongly recommend calling Pothitakis Law Firm!
