Customer service is always prompt and friendly. They offer a wide variety of services. My husband and I had our fingerprinting done for an adoption background check at this location. We also used their notary service. I use their shipping service weekly.

Been going here regularly for about 15 years. A pretty dysfunctional business if you ask me. Their business technology and way of doing things is very...uhhh, 1995. It's a convenient place to drop off packages and ship things. And I've had a box here for several years, at an extremely reasonable price, which is nice, since it prevents mail theft when purchasing pricey items online. But they never notify me of when a package arrives, and once they tried to give me someone else's package. When I went there today to pick up a package, they said that I didn't have a package waiting for me. But the shipping and tracking information showed it had arrived several days ago. After telling me several times that the package was not here, I insisted, showed them the tracking info and proof of delivery, and he kept looking and eventually found it, despite his computer saying there was no package for me. Also, they never send out notices saying that I need to renew my box fees. They simply start charging late fees when you don't pay on time...on that mysterious date every summer when it's due, that I must have to put in my own calendar since invoices are never sent. I may be shopping for other shipping outlets. I like supporting small businesses, which is partly why I continue to go here, but I'm pretty tired of their dysfunction and will probably start shopping around for other shipping centers or PO Boxes.

The first honest, people-centric interaction I’ve had in a shop in - well - I don’t remember how long! I came in without having printed my label for a UPS return. They said it would cost a dollar for the label and one for the tape - just because they lose money on those things when people come in without them (I get it - everything is expensive these days). When I said I didn’t have cash, she even offered to waive the charge, saying “Next time you come in, just bring a couple dollars”! I did end up paying with card (I don’t want to forget to bring cash next time!). Needless to say this Pony Express will be my go-to for all my shipping needs from now on.

Came to drop off x2 UPS packages that already had labels. Cute building with a lot of potential, Pony Express feels very "mom & pop" which I love. I parked in the back on 30th and was buzzed in (took a sec, like wasn't instant but quick). There's also an entrance on Lake City Way. Woman working was learning a new system on the phone and was sweet. I can see why other said the way they do things is out dated, seems like they're updating, though, as she was just plugging the scanner in and learning to use it. No issues, was fast even though she was learning and got a drop off receipt.

frazzled and discombobulated rude counter help. Walked in about 4:30 pm. There was 1 woman at the counter who seemed very frazzled- She is an older white woman with blondish hair. All of the customers were totally chill and waiting patiently, but she kept responding as though people were giving her a hassle about taking too much time (i didn't particularly think she was taking to much time...it takes as long as it takes). Another employee from the back room called out to her and asked her if she needed help but she was too frazzled to make use of her.
When it was my turn I needed to mail a ups package for which i had a pdf for the label. She told me it would be $1 to print and I was fine with that even though in the past they have not charged me to print pre-paid labels for which they are an authorized dealer. While i was waiting for it to arrive in their email she helped another customer who was there to pick up his mail. She told him that the previous employee was doing it wrong and that he was actually supposed to charge $2 for each pick up but that she wouldn't charge him this time. The customer was like, "that's fine and put $2 on the counter. Then she said she'd only charge him $1 this time. Then she mentioned something about how it was supposed to be $5 but she was babbling about how she was still in training. The customer said that was fine and put down $5. I piped up that she had told him it would be free this time, and then said $1 and why was she now asking for $2? I spoke up and stated that she had quoted him 4 different prices in under a minute and if she offered for it to be free, then she should not be taking money from him. She was very rude to me and asked me what my problem was. I said I thought they should have a standard price, it should be advertised/posted and that she should not be charging him when she started out offering it for free this time.
I spoke up, even though it wasn't my transaction, b/c the customer in the scenario was a young African American man and she was an older white woman, and Black people in America still can't speak out about objections to the way they are being treated without the fear that it will be taken poorly or even deadly. Now the customer could have been totally chill and really not cared if it was "free this time, $2, no $1, wait maybe $5, ok, $2" or he may have just decided it wasn't worth a possible confrontation. In any case, *I* was offended by her behavior and rudeness towards me, and said maybe i will take my business elsewhere and she said good. Nice.

I should’ve read the reviews but don’t come here for notary services. It seems every time I try to get a document notarized it’s a different excuse as to why it just can’t happen. I’m starting to believe that they just don’t have someone that can perform Notary Services.

I was told a couple times that their notary wasn’t available, then I go in today and I was told their notary quit. Then as I was leaving, the lady said she was their notary but was extremely busy and suggested I go to a bank. My problem with the “extremely busy” statement is, there was only one customer…WHICH WAS ME.

I have a suggestion, you guys should update your website to reflect your current/to date operations…you should also learn that it’s okay to tell the truth.

The lady running this place is mean and arrogant. She harasses her customers by yelling at them. She has the right to deny service to anyone but she literally tore my package’s label when she had no right to. She has a fit of anger. I would never recommend this place. FYI: she told me that my package was poorly packed but when I went to the UPS store after, they accepted it. I have no words to explain how bad the woman running this place is.

They received a package for my box and photographed it like usual so I could see it arrived. But when I arrived to pick it up they could not find it. Two weeks later, they still have not found it or offered to reimburse me. They won’t return my calls about it. I don’t know whether to file a police report for theft or sue them or both. I have used three mail services in the past for many years and they never lost my mail. I have only had a box at Pony Express for a few months and they lost a package and have trouble finding all my mail whenever I go to retrieve it. If you need a mail service and actually want to receive all your mail, do not hire these people to do the job.
