Atrocious and horrible experience having this firm mishandle our case (according to every subsequent attorney we interviewed) and then drop us close to our trial date.
A "Super Attorney" (yes a real thing) used colorful language when expressing to us just how badly our case had been prepared up to that point. The super attorney offered us malpractice lawyer contacts without our asking. That is how badly we were treated by this firm. This office missed our discovery date cutoff !!!! Anyone wanting to contact me, I would be happy to document everything that I am saying. Our case would be difficult to win because the discovery date had been missed, we were told by subsequent attorneys. It was the opinion of these attorneys that this is the reason why this office declined to represent us after billing many hours and our case quickly approaching.
After were we requested our documents we were told that we had to sign a form stating that they would no longer represent us - to get our documents back. This information was given to us ONLY by the receptionist. When we went to get our very important documents they were withheld until we signed the form. No lawyer was present when we signed the forms. Every subsequent attorney we spoke to said that this was very shady and possibly illegal, at least very unethical. Subsequent attorneys after reviewing this office's work suggested that we complain to the board which we are gong to do. Philip Dyson's office would not return our documents until we signed the form saying that we were parting ways... that they no longer represented us. STAY CLEAR of this office
