I chose Palmer Law Firm because they are incredibly family-oriented and attentive. During my 30-minute consultation with Attorney Layla Zad, she listened to my story and took detailed notes. I was searching for a good lawyer after dealing with so many who took my money but never got the job done.

That day, I called eight different lawyers, shared my story, and got quotes. I gave myself a week to think, read reviews, and do my research, but I knew most reviews are just opinions. Layla was my direct lawyer and promised she wouldn’t waste my time in our consultation. That is exactly what she did, all the hidden fees you could imagine. Week delayed responses via email regarding simple questions. It truly felt like I was going through the court process alone. Yet they were charging me left and right for their time that produced nothing. They expect thousands more than the 4.5k starting, a day or two before court hearings.

I was a brand new single mother when I started the legal process with Palmer Rodak and Associates. All they were after was my money, months into the process Layla asked what my sons name was. I have a daughter. Absolutely careless and out for your money.

Watch out for these people. The exact SHARKS you warned about in this field.

I separated from the firm as soon as I realized just how badly Layla screwed both parties, last minute document changes in court. She was not forthcoming about anything and did not thoroughly explain what she was having me sign. She guaranteed legal fees covered by other party, but failed to mention she’d only ask for 1/4 of the total legal fees and that they’d be paid to her firm. It is my money. I will be waiting a year to receive back from them, though they charge for things they don’t tell you about. I’m not expecting anything to come back.

This firm is full of thieves. Avoid them at all costs.

We engaged Palmer Rodak & Associates to mediate our divorce. We were able to come to an agreement in one full day of mediation (about as good as one could hope for). I think that Mathew and Layla did a solid job w/ that part.

However, what would follow that agreement was much harder than I anticipated. The real rock stars here are the paralegals that help you to the finish line. Especially Ashley who guided us through the cumbersome process, dealing with the courts (to save me time), and quickly responding to inquiries and (only) escalating when necessary (for cost savings), etc.
