If they say they'll call back - they actually do call back! My taxes are completed in a timely manner and every thing is explained to me. If there are ways for me to save on my taxes, I am always given suggestions. They even take care to figure out if it fits my personal goals. I have referred several friends here over the years, and every one has said they were happy with the service they received. I am Dr William Seese. I was a customer at PLLP for 45 years. Recently I received an e-mail that I had been dropped from the company because the company had decided to go a different direction (bigger fish, I suppose). So I asked for a referral to an accountant who was comfortable doing a USA tax return for a USA citizen living in and paying taxes in the UK. I was told that they cannot make any referrals.
Don't do business with these people. If they dumped me after 45 years without a referral, they will dump you whenever it is convenient.

Made tax season less stressful. Excellent customer service. David was very efficient with my taxes. He took care of everything in a timely manor. He even went through ones I did last year on turbo tax and helped me amend the things I missed. Definitely recommend! I am happy I have found an accountant I can rely on for the future

I recently moved to CT from NY and was looking for an accountant. Kismet, I came across Palmer Latko Ledas where David reviewed my current W-2 and 2020 filings and flagged past reports based on what he saw. My previous returns had unreported/missing information as well as dependents unclaimed (What the sh*t!, right? - Who files returns so carelessly?). Luckily, David was able to amend my returns and patiently explained everything in great detail. Everyone I met with was very nice; the girls at front desk were very friendly - even gave me some chocolates (winning!). David and his team own what they do and do it well. They are definitely people persons who are relatable and personable. 10/10 would recommend.

Just received a letter dated January 15th telling me that fees were doubling 4 this year. Letter should have been sent prior ro the start of TX season. Fees going from $350.00 to $750.00. Talk about gouging clients. Come out and say you no longer want to do personal returns. I have researched and going rate is $500.00. Is there no loyalty to the client who has been with u 4 years? Guess not!

So SAD!

I thank you 4 your response and was not made aware last year of this change. I am a person who would have been on this immediately. I was not overly impressed with the individual who took over for Peg. He made a mistake on my return which he should have questioned. It got resolved by me me making the phone calls. I have quite a few questions this year as I retired collecting a pension and will be receiving ssn. Not a good year to have to scramble. I am upset over this! I will be reaching out to pickup my files at some point but I am not ready. Please no mailing of this info. Ihave the organizer u sent which is helpful. Charging $750 4 my son who has nothing is exorbitant. I have spoken 2 a referral about your fee and r in agreement about the fee doubling. It is a shame!

Preparer should have mentioned double fee increase last year. Thank you for the referral that was given to me.
