I've been using Shawn for years after the recommendation of a friend. That first year I did my taxes as usual through Turbo Tax but didn't file them. I wanted to see what the difference using an actual accountant versus what I could do for the nominal online fee filing on my own. Shawn had a face-to-face meeting with me and called a couple of times requesting a few more documents afterward. Ultimately, he got me $1000 more than what I had figured I'd be getting if I had filed on my own. This, of course, more than offset an accounting fee with an extra almost $900 in my pocket! He is great about finding tax credits and teaching you what receipts to save. I'd highly recommend him.
