She is very unprofessional lawyer seen in my life . Very bad at all with communicating and also her work . She took almost 1 year for my divorce case and made worse bc of her I loose my kids coustody. Every single point that explain whole year she forgot front of judge and made all kind bundled front of all us . Once hearing finished she blocked phone and emails and even don’t return my folder of paperwork also my refund thae she owe me $3200 . So I recommend don’t hire her even for small case . She charge me almost $12000 and fought nothing for my case . Very very bad lawyer so please stay away from her . She takes money under table on opposite sure that’s what I heard other clients too .just look her reviews everything there to stay away from her . Olivia shepherd worse . Do some training yourself and then start your practice.

We hired the Sheppard law firm and discussed the process moving forward. Paid her a great deal of money and nothing that she said was going to happen, ever happened. We called her numerous times and sent emails and it took 2 weeks to get any response from the firm. We fired her that day and she insisted that she was, in fact, working on our case and even if we fired her she claims that we owe her money for the, so called work that she did do. She said that she would send us an invoice for that work and refund the remainder of my money. Now stupid me apparently was thinking this would have happened immediately and needless to say it hasn’t. It’s been now over a week since that discussion and I have yet to see an invoice or my refund. And now we’ve been trying to call the office to speak with someone all week but we continually get a voicemail message. No one ever answers their phone. I have mentioned to them in my numerous emails how unprofessional they are. Don’t waste your money on this law firm. I’m not sure how she gets any good reviews. I suppose she pick and chooses who’s paying her the most money.

She's been working on my case since march, i was told it was pretty simple, but she still has not done anything. I found another lawyer to handle my case because this has been way to long, she misses all the phone call appointments I set up, she won't return any calls I set, her office phone won't even ring anymore when I call it. Just goes straight to voicemail. I requested a refund from her the last time I got to speak with her, I'm pretty sure she's avoiding me because of that. I've been trying to give her the chance to call, left messages with her office staff to please call me asap, never heard anything from anyone. I was told she would send a email with the details and ever since I was told that I have not received an email, and now I can't even get ahold of anyone or her. I highly highly suggest if you're thinking about going to her please go somewhere else to save yourself the trouble. I should have gone to someone else because she already has a one star review but I figured oh this case shouldn't be to hard for her to handle. Boy was I wrong. Hopefully I get my money back but I don't have high hopes. The money that I don't have and had to work hard for that I needed to use to make sure a child has stability in his life, and she has stolen it.

If you want an attorney that cares Olivia is not the one. I hired her for my divorce. After eleven months we still had nothing. We had two phone appointments that she did not bother to keep. Did not inform me that she was cancelling. I left work just for these appointments because they were important to me. She told me when I hired her that she would get me spousal support as soon as possible and I did not even get a hearing for that. My husband and I have reconciled and now she is sending me a bill for two court appearances. She was paid in full and I have an email stating paid in full. I could never speak to Olivia...it was always her paralegal. I just feel if you want a professional attorney Olivia is NOT the one. I would NEVER recommend her or use her again.

If she did great for other people I'm glad she didn't do them like she did me .. I got the bare minimum standard visitation and could have gotten that myself... She didn't even make sure my son got my last name even though I have a DNA test 99.99999% mine... Wouldn't waste my time or money... She's nice about it tho.....sorry but I didn't care if she was Nice I just wanted her to do her job and my son is the one that deserved her best~ if what she did for us was her best that's sad!!! It's been 3 years now maybe she has stopped taking advantage of people like she did my family:( 100% truth!!!

If I could give no stars I would: totally unprofessional, misses appointments, doesn't return phone calls, procrastinates, doesn't contact you until the night before the trial (after you've spent weeks trying to get in touch with her for trial preparation), no preparation or formal discussion concerning strategy, doesn't review your case file, totally unprepared in trial, makes promises/commitments and doesn't deliver. Paralegal (Kenleigh) has to apologize for Olivia's absences.
Simply an embarrassment to the profession and be prepared for no wins: lets opposing council walk all over her.
You'd be better off representing yourself.

New practice with no passion. Unable to perform beyond paperwork filing. My custody case was lost due to lack of defense on my part by my attorney, Olivia. Supplied her with information against the defendant, husband. She chose not to use all the faults he made & continued to against me, in “ hopes of keeping simple & wholesome”. As the defending side sat there and put me in very uncomfortable positions of manipulating my character as I’ve never been in a court chair before, I was emotional & lost. Seems she does not care about her clients and have little to no empathy towards my loss of physical custody. Mentioned being cut off after the last appearance and not supplied with the ad liteum attorneys conclusive report he gave to her, but she did not discuss with me. They live in the same town of Ashdown and work together quite often as well. Seems a conflict of interest. In the final paperwork for my modification I’ll do with another attorney, that file should’ve been on top. Nowhere to be found and she does not return or respond to emails, or calls. There are other options and I pray I find the right attorney going forward with the care of a parent to understand. Your choice, however I’m sure she can win some cases just wouldn’t recommend for sevier county.
