Ever get the impression, especially when dealing with county bureaucrats, that you're wasting their time, that they can't BELIEVE you didn't know about the form, and could you please get off the phone so I can go back to something else?

If you haven't, call the Records Dept. in room 205 and enjoy an interaction that will underscore why so many are loath to deal with government employees.

To to fine people at the records room - your less-that-courteous disposition ignores the fact that, as a public employee, you work for the public. Without us, you'd have no reason to have your job, let alone the funding for it.

It's okay to hate your job. Find a better one, for your own happiness as well as your family's happiness. Life is too short!

This city needs to get with the times. Commissioning all your business to the highlands, and being concerned with green space and parking is no way to revitalise a city.
