They send you in circles. Call this number where you will NEVER get through or you can file online but you will still have to call to confirm where you will NEVER get through.
I utilized them some years ago and they were way better than this.
So sad they are now just another bureaucracy that gives people the runaround.
Once you actually contact them they are very helpful.

So many people certainly are in need of the services this organization provides to individuals who cannot afford to get legal assistance or find access to proper representation. The staff are sensitive to the hardships clients face and very willing to navigate a wide range of barriers just to ensure you receive support in various legal matters.

This place sounds like a good deal but when you go to call in, just like I was trying between 9:15 an 12:15 so literally countless times now at 9:14 I have tried calling and EVERYTIME it has said due to the call volume they are not accepting anymore calls and to try again shortly.... It has almost made me feel like I can say I hate the place ....

In 2015 I needed legal help to get a divorce, but lacked the financial means to afford an attorney. It was suggested that I contact the CLEAR Northwest Justice Project. It took about 2 months to get an appt, and when I did, I came away from it very disappointed. I was brought into a room with about four other women who were there seeking the same type of legal assistance. We were each given a large white envelope that contained paperwork and forms that must have been an inch thick. The lawyer went through each form with us and answered questions that we had. And that was it. I was thankful that I was given all the forms that I would need to file for a divorce at no cost. But I was still way over my head and completely overwhelmed with the entire process. I made a second appointment, and it gave me a little more hope. I was able to speak one-on-one with a lawyer, and was told that she was going to put a note into my file that said she felt I should be given representation. I didn't get it, though. So I got a third appt, and this one was the worst of them all. The lawyer I was there to speak with had someone there who he was training. When I asked a question, he had no answer, and the two left the room to go into the library to find out what the answer was. They never did find out. I felt like I was intruding on them just by being there. I haven't been back since...
It's eight years later now, and I need legal help for a totally different matter. I'm hoping that I can upgrade this review afterwards with some good news.

This excellent, purpose-driven organization established to help low-income citizens with high-quality lawyers, has helped many understand their particular legal issue and the legal system and not be taken advantage of by lawyers or individuals on the opposite side of their situation.
