It was fun fishing at the New Sea Angler fishing boat. They go above and beyond to ensure everyone has fun and gets their fishing limit. The workers will also drop off crab cages on the way out and pick up the crabs for us during the crab fishing season. You can bring your fishing poles, or you can rent them on board. They have good rental fishing poles on board too. The workers will also clean the fish for a small fee.

Second time on this Voyage. Enjoyed it very much. This time brought 15 of my good friends...a good time was had by all.

What can I say, Captain Rick knows his stuff. And it is true...his deck hands are the best.

I was on board the New Sea Angler yesterday. Captain Rick Powers and his crew were outstanding. They provided everything we needed, including a double lingcod hookup with a whopper that will be submitted to the Western Outdoor News! Thanks for the trip of a lifetime!

It was an awesome trip that was almost ruined by Rick's constant complaining. Everyone wanted Lingcod, but Rick wanted us to catch rock fish. He then uses the carcusses for crab bait on future trips (along with the majority of the squid he insists we bring for tipping our flies). So because almost everyone stayed on the bottom for Lingcod instead of constantly reeling up 200+ feet of line over and over to catch his crab bait, he became upset and started complaining for HOURS (not exaggerating).
Other than that, everything went great. Limits of lings, rock fish, & 5 crab.

The Captain put the boat in neutral and said drop them over. In one minute we got bites. We end the day with a boat limit. Go with him. The New Sea Angler.

Sept, 10 My husband and I had the most exciting fishing trip ever, thanks to Captain Rick and deck hand Dana. We had a private charter, because nobody else showed up. Captain Rick could have canceled the trip but he didn't and took us out we caught limits of rock fish, salmon and also lingcod. What a wonderful day it was, we were in fish heaven. Captain really knows how to put you on the fish, and deck hand Dana works his behind off to keep your poles baited. When we return to Bodega Bay we will definitely go fishing on the New Sea Angeler again. Thanks Captain Rick and Deck hand Dana for the most awesome trip. Sandy Ross

Awesome day of fishing. First time out on a charter and had a great time. Captain Rick made sure we all caught our limits and sent us home with a few dungeness crab at the end of the season as an added bonus. Dana the Deckhand is a huge help to you on the trip and is on top of what he's doing for you. We will definitely be going again.

Dana the deck hand was really fun and made the trip memorable. We started out at 5 am. The boat went out for 35 minutes. Then he boat started to get very rocky. We fished for about 4 hours. Till we reached the limit of 10 rockfish. Some lingcod where caught. Then we went crabbing for dungeness crabs. I helped hook up the buoys to hoist up the crab traps. The fish were fileted for $1 each. We àrrived back at the dock around 12:30.
A good time was had by one and all. Don't forget to take your seasick pills. You do need them. IT'S quite windy and chilly out there.
