I want to clarify that my understanding of the situation was based on the information I was given. During a conversation with Amy, I expressed that we were seeking legal representation, and she assured me that a lawyer wasn’t necessary at that point. However, I felt misled by the responses I received, as they were vague enough that I believed legal representation might be an option, even if I didn't need it immediately. I later shared my belief with another person, but instead of engaging in a constructive conversation, I was called a liar and accused of being delusional. I was also threatened with a lawsuit for defamation. It seems to me that the way the information was communicated led to my misunderstanding, and I was simply trying to clarify what I thought was the case. I believe the way they handled the information was misleading, but I understand that this is just my perspective on the matter.
