Nancy has a nice office in Bellingham. It felt good meeting and sitting on a comfortable couch. Rather than in a stiff, major corporation office. She is straightforward and to the point. I respect that in a person. No nonsense, period. She will tell you straight up what you’re working with. She took a moment to look up a new law, double-checking the situation. She was recommended to me by a friend, and I couldn’t have been more thankful.

My husband and I needed an eviction attorney. We had a tenant that ran into an unfortunate set of circumstances and because of all the stress that my husband and I incurred because of late payment and double mortgage payments we needed help both in trying to aid the tenant and in getting the house on the market and sold so that we could reduce our financial burdens. Nancy does evictions often and is very knowledgeable about everything that is entailed in the eviction process. She had an information sheet that explained the whole process and really you can entrust her to get this job done while also providing resources to the tenant to help them following our required state laws that are ever changing as I found out. Her office staff were respectful and kind. In reading some of the other reviews, needing a lawyer can be a highly stressful situation. Before leaving a review, please reflect on whether your situation is caused by your own stress and anger at your situation and allow for those interacting with someone that may not consider how they are presenting that this is an independent business that doesn't have to tolerate abuse to serve you. She also helps the community by utilizing interns. I wrote a paper about the importance of utilizing interns. Interns, by nature, are learning. Don't be hassling people that are learning the ropes, please. I would also encourage you to also pray please for my tenants. It was emotionally draining not to be able to celebrate the holiday with them this year with Christmas cookies. I wish them all the best. Nancy is the most professional and kind-hearted attorney I could have ever hoped to have when my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer and we needed documents notarized. Nancy took time out of her schedule to meet us at the hospital and worked around our availability. Anyone who says anything negative about her is someone who didn't like the truth hitting them in the face. She is fair, and she is kind. That's all there is to it.

Extremely unprofessional.... My Fiance and I both called in separately. Both of us received horrible experiences. We were put in contact with them through Target's team member services. Not only was the receptionist rude, she did not even want to take the time to hear anything we had to say. Not to mention failing to put us in contact with anyone of importance. After which I explained she was being very unprofessional, she decided to just hang up on me. I would not waste your time. If this is the way they treat you right off the bat, I don't imagine they put much effort or represent you in any professional manner.

THE WORST attorney in Bellingham. Not only was she rude and indignant, she could care less about you and your case. She’s only interested in money. And worse, here is an example of her extreme unprofessionalism: I followed each and every step she gave me for a Reply Declaration and even turned it in to her days before she asked for it back (in order for her to go over it and submit it to the courts for filing on my behalf) she not only did not file it, I had to learn about her NOT filing it by happenstance, and then when I confronted her about it asking why she didn’t file it and especially why she didn’t tell me that she didn’t file she claimed that she did it for “legal reasons.” That’s all she would tell me. DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY. You will regret it.
