I recently sought legal representation from Naomi’s Mullins Law Group and Carrie Primas and was deeply disappointed by the experience. Not only were the fees exorbitant for the amount of work that was actually done but communication was consistently tardy and unresponsive.

From the outset, Carrie and her paralegal Sofia, charged excessive fees for services that seemed unnecessary. Simple tasks, such as drafting a one sentence email and “adding an appointment on the calendar” were billed at exorbitant rates. For example, I was charged $50 dollars for an email, which at their rate would mean they spent 12 minutes of time to send an email. Additionally, they inflated the number of hours spent on my case, resulting in a bill that far exceeded my expectations.

Communication was another major issue. Emails were often met with long delays or no response at all. This lack of promptness was particularly frustrating during critical stages of my divorce, when timely communication was essential. It seemed as if my inquiries were being ignored or dismissed. For example, I received three emails back to back in regards to a specific matter and when i made it clear that I did not want to incur additional charges since the divorce was complete, they completely ceased all communication.

I am not denying that Carrie was a knowledgeable lawyer, she definitely was and thankfully my divorce was relatively short (not necessarily due to Carrie’s work) but the excessive fees and poor communication made me wish I had gone with another firm. I would still be divorced but my bank account would look a lot healthier.
