After multiple calls and multiple e-mails sent for service, you wouldn't think a phone call or e-mail would be hard to respond to. However, e-mails or calls were NEVER returned. It's not that hard to give a simple reply saying, "Sorry, we will not take your case."

In desperate need of a defense attorney... My trust for lawyers were slim to nothing! Back in 2015, my nightmare began. Hired an attorney who said she can take the case. Needless to say, she took my money and left my son sitting in the county and turned around to tell me she couldn't take the case any further because she was retiring. She referred another attorney who just reduced my sons bond and wanted him to take a plea after only being on the case for 6 months.

As a struggling, hard working single Mother there were many days, weeks, months I lost hope that my son and I would ever see justice, in what can be a never ending court system and process , that at times, one feels helpless and forgotten. In so many cases, like mine, single parents give up hope, primarily for financial reasons or from frustration, given a system that doesn't give us a voice, we are silenced by a process that can dehumanize us and our children. I can't tell you how many firms I contacted, legal aid services offices and to my dismay, I felt as if I was just a number, inconsequential. The lack of empathy was at times heartbreaking. I would definitely recommend motta&motta law firm and reach out to them again in a time of need. I gave this rating because I had a case where according to the state of Illinois, they had me dead to rights and I was facing two super x class felony's which both carries 15-60 years . Allison , which was my lawyer always answered my calls whether it be me or my girlfriend; she never made us feel as though she was always available and ready to take action. she even made me feel involved as far as asking me questions and trying to understand any and all angles or ideas i thought she could bring up during court. Allison always had a game plan and a game plan with layers , meaning more than one back up plan. Their were two other lawyers on my case because it was an conspiracy case ,BUT My lawyer Allison was the one who found the technicality that beat our case , so I would definitely Recommend MOTTA AND MOTTA Law Firm and can guarantee that you are in good and trusted hands.
