If possible, I would not give any stars. This review is about Ms. Dannielle Pratt and what should have been a simple divorce case between two elderly people.
One was 89 and the other was 86. Between the two of them they did not have much to split in the way of assets. In the beginning the two parties involved had agreed to a 50/50 split of assets and the divorce decree was filled out and filed with Snohomish County District Court. At this time there were no lawyers involved. For some reason during the ninety-day reconciliation period, Ms. Pratt became my step mother’s attorney and they contested the divorce decree.
This divorce dragged on and took 2 years to get finalized because of the ridiculous demands that were asked for and did not get, as well as Ms. Pratt sitting on her laurels basically ignoring my dad’s attorney and not responding to the required legal documents. The mediation was also an expensive part of the process and ended with no agreement. During the mediation my father’s offers were turned down and if Ms. Pratt had directed her client to except, they would have received more monies than what they agreed to in the final divorce agreement. It was sad to watch a lawyer put two elderly people through a stressful and mental mind game for 2 years. I know what my father spent on his attorney fees which took all of his savings, so my ex-step mother must have spent around the same and used all of her savings. So, the monies they had agreed upon splitting 50/50 in the beginning went to attorney fees. To sum it up the expenses incurred in this divorce has more than likely depleted two elderly people’s savings accounts.
In addition, it is a sad fact that Ms. Pratt waited 5 weeks to process orders that gave her client a death benefit in the event my father passed away.
I wrote this review because I feel it is important for the public to know how Ms. Pratt conducted herself in this divorce case. I have no ill will towards my ex- step mother and I don’t think she had an attorney looking out for her best interest. This also cost my 89 now 90-year-old father unnecessary expenses for his attorney
On the Mill Creek Law Website, Ms. Pratts profile states she is an advocate for the elderly. After watching my father and ex- step mother go through what I witnessed, I would have to say that is not the case. I don’t understand why Ms. Pratt made 2 elderly people wait so long to close an easy case.

Stalwarts of the legal profession. Decades of high quality support for my personal property and business issues. Yes, it can be tough to get a hold of a specific lawyer sometimes, given their ongoing court schedules. But if you want something done right, give the task to a busy team. There is a good reason they are busy.

I didn't get the help I needed here. I chose another law firm because the wait time for an appointment was too long.

Very disappointed
After a great consult and high hopes of a quick resolution it has now taken over a year and the estate issues still are not resolved.
I have waited over a month to get the final paperwork which still is not completed and it is as of now, unknown as to how much longer it's going to be.
Danielle Pratt nor Helga Watson return calls or emails in a timely manner if at all.
Near impossible to think about even getting a response.
The did however get the estate dispute settled as hoped but it was not without lengthy and unnecessary delays by both Mill Creek Law and the other party.
For what they charged, the service they provided, the headaches and anxiety indured they are not worth it
Deadlines never met and on and on.
I will update this review upon finalizing the estate

After a very helpful consultation with Bill Sullivan about another family law issue, I had high hopes for a positive experience with this firm when referred to Jenna Liske for help filing a simple Intent to Move and Child Support Reevaluation. Jenna did eventually file the Intent to Move form, but nine months, and many phone calls and emails from me later, the reevaluation of child support had not moved forward at all, despite all required information having been submitted by both sides. I had little to no communication from Jenna. In fact, the proposal for adjusted child support had not even been formally sent to the other parent for review. Eventually, I just gave up and decided to go elsewhere. Fortunately, I didn't lose too much money, because most of what I was charged for was the time spent for her to take the phone calls from me and review the emails I sent inquiring when the process would move forward. Nothing was followed up on. The lack of professionalism was quite astounding. I would not go with this firm if you need help with a relatively simple and easy (and therefore not very lucrative for them) family law issue. If it wasn't worth her time, I would have appreciated being told no thank you, so I could have avoided the retainer deposit and nearly a year of wasted time.

I met with Pat Mckenzie to go over my estate planning. I explained to him I was not at all familiar with what had been done previously. He told me what he thought I should have without explaining anything. When I told him I did not understand what he was proposing he started talking to me in the most condescending way I have ever experienced from a professional. He made no attempt to explain anything. Just told me what I needed without telling me what it was for. Even suggested I may have problems with my memory. Eventually I said that we didn't seem to get along. At that point he told me he did not want to represent me and to pick up my files from the front desk. I was recommended to this firm by my former lawyer Lyle Wilson who has since retired. We had a great relationship. I have never had an experience like the one i've had with Mr. Mckenzie. So now I will move on.
