My husband attended this college in the Fall of 1989. He hadn't been back since then. We happened to be in town for a Southern University A&M Baton Rouge SWAC Basketball Championship game and decided to swing by Miles.
My husband was Floored by all of the improvements and additions to the campus. When he attended the campus only had two forms Male/Female and the football field looked like a practice field full of dirt without the stadium.
It was so nice to see that Miles had come such a long way. The surrounding houses can leave you depressed however.
Overall, progress was made with many more to come I'm certain

It was a great experience to visit the campus and watch the game.Except for the alumni or trustee that works the ticket booth are rude!! Mrs Knight's and others are a little overboard with the students. She's over aggressive with the students especially when they are members of the band. I watched her handle them very aggressively!!! These days are not the time for that.

Miles College is a great institution. Any experience at a college is what you make it. I am very involved and the staff is very helpful to students. The college wants you to succeed and the environment is geared towards success for the students. As a student-athlete it is important to stay on top of your work, you have to work towards your grades. I encourage anybody of any race to attend Miles College. As a freshman I know this is one of the best decisions I have made thus far.

Great place, very helpful staff. Good dining facility. We were there to attend a spiritual retreat during the memorial weekend and everyone from Miles college, including the President were extremely kind and helpful. They went beyond the call of duty to make our weekend memorable. Thanks, Miles college!

Beautiful school / campus in one of Birmingham's Historic districts.. My nephew received a full academic scholarship to Miles and he went on to receive his Bachelor's in Mathematics. He is now a Math teacher/basketball coach and he loves it. Some of the best professors in the country are employed at Miles; thanks to these caring teachers, my nephew, as well as others from Birmingham and all around, received a top-notch education right here at home, at Miles College.

Miles College is a great small college. I graduated from there in the early 2000s and I still go back there frequently. The atmosphere is good for anyone who wants smaller class sizes and more personal contact with instructors.
