Best attorney around. I've never had to go through court before and knew nothing about anything. Austin really helped explain things to me and I felt like he really cared about my case and things going on. He's good at planning for future out comes and possibilities that may arise. Communication is very fluid. I have nothing but respect and love for all that he has done for me. He deserves a vacation because man he does a lot while also doing a very amazing and thorough job. I had a wonderful experience with austin and I hope others feel the same and if I have any other cases in Illinois he will always be my go to! ❤️

Pros: Nice enough guy, did not give off the reptilian vibe I've gotten from other lawyers in the area, and felt like someone I'd be able to get along with. He was generally responsive to emails, at least as far as simply responding goes. It certainly stood out that he was prepared during a status hearing while the other attorney's involved were not. He is straight forward in addressing what options he believed to be available, and avoided giving a sense of false hope...maybe too much. I wish I could speak to his actually abilities as an attorney, but the lack of progress seems to really fall on the overall system that normalizes 5 minute status updates with no resulting accomplishments at hundreds of dollars each.

Cons: The bulk of my concerns have been based on how the legal system operates. However, my main concerns that emerged while working with Mr. Davies were based on what seems to be an inability to recognize and appropriately respond to his clients' experiences and emotions that resulted from how the court operates. He was aware of my goals, but then questioned me for wanting more time with my kids. When addressed on this response, his rebuttal included the "offer" to refer me to someone else and made false and accusatory statements that seemed to be emotionally driven on his end. He indicated not knowing what information my payments were based on despite being provided with that information. While not being give false hopes is good, being under the impression that you are in fact screwed, everything has already been decided despite there being little to no progress, and there is very little to be done is not. When questioned about details and the benefit of representation based on the lack of forward movement, Mr. Davies appeared to respond by withdrawing. I say "appeared," because there was no actual explanation, and so without actual reasoning, it also appears that he responded to his ego more than the needs of his client. It's the lack of professionalism demonstrated over several interactions that merits the two stars.

Mr Davies was fantastic at representing me through my entire case, he was super organized from the very beginning, always available to answer any questions with a quick response, and was as affordable as I could have hoped to find for an attorney! Even with the other party being very difficult to work with, Austin was still able to close the case with a better outcome than I was hoping for! Thanks so much Austin, I will definitely continue to recommend you to anyone I know with custody issues, and you'll be the first I call if I need help in the future!!
