I had very positive interactions with both Mr. Hyman and Mr. Collins. They displayed high levels of expertise and gave me great advice and guidance. Both Mr. Collins and Mr. Hyman have represented me on a matter and have been extremely polite and understanding. They have both listened to my concerns and thoughts and given the best and the most honest answer they could even if it maybe is not what I was hoping to hear. I don't believe in my opinion you could ask for a better team to represent you! Also Mrs. Brittany is absolutely amazing at getting back to me with answers to my questions and or concerns. She is very polite and understanding as well. I brought her a stack of papers that I must say was not very organized and she put it all together and organized it to make it easier to comb through and understand. All in all they are a very professional group who does not over charge or misuse your money. The saying you get your bang for your buck definitely applies to Collins and Hyman! I highly recommend them to take care of any matter you feel you need help with.

We had a change in our life situation and we needed a quality family attorney. We contacted Rick Collins and he called us back by the end of the day and we set up an office visit. I assumed that I was getting a good lawyer to represent me and make my divorce fair for both parties. Mr. Collins seemed like he was not equipped to represent me and now I have one of the most one-sided divorce decrees my other lawyer has ever seen. I felt like he was getting taught how to talk, act and negotiate with the other lawyer. I don't know if he didn't care or wasn't aware of the financial strain, ruined credit, and no retirement check I know face. I did not get represented at all in my divorce proceedings. My initial assumption about him was totally wrong and now I am paying for this for the next ten years. Tell me how a person making less than 65k is now paying almost 3k in alimony for 15 years? I now know what and why this happened after four years but never would think it when I paid him over $2500 of money I didn't have to ensure I had a fair hearing. I would not ever recommend him to anyone I know if only he cared enough.

“Fire him. He sucks” a direct quote/advice from an inmate to my incarcerated family member. And that’s exactly what my family did. Where do I start? Minimum effort. Does not put in the work that their clients are entitled to. Uncomfortably friendly with the D.A. It’s clear that he wanted to do the bare minimum (take a plea deal). You can almost NEVER get Michael Hyman on the phone. I called the office and spoke with 3 different people. The only person who provided guidance was Britney. Paralegals are hired having no knowledge of domestic and criminal. Michael knows close to nothing about mental health/abusive/controlling relationships. I’m not sure if it his lack of knowledge, lack of compassion, or lack of caring about the people he’s suppose to serve but something is off. My mother an I ran around and called places for two weeks day and night. He got us a bond hearing which failed. Our first day with the new lawyer (different law firm)was a complete turn around, things are finally getting done and we’re making progress. This new lawyer has the knowledge and the right tools for success. If you can afford one please get a lawyer who will not fail you like Micheal Hyman has done. Do better and do your job Collins and Hyman!

Mr Collins represented my grandmother in court for a custody battle that we were battling with the father. He was very knowledgeable, competent, professional and polite. He also responded to my grandmother emails very promptly. He did an awesome job. My grandmother and myself were VERY pleased with the outcome.
