This firm is very unprofessional, I called the firm due to them sending me an order to withdraw from my case a few days before my trial. They were taking payments directly from my account and stopped payment and Sean told me they must’ve mixed me up, then say pay July payment of $500 , but why when my payments were stopped on there end, he laughed at me and told me you don’t have any money and hung up on me. Not to mention he took my retainer fee but never stated that he wouldn’t be representing me they put an attorney who has only one year of practice on my case which I feel is totally unfair because she hasn’t taken necessary steps to help me in my case because she has very little knowledge.

Made an appointment, was on my way to the appointment, someone from the office called me and asked if I was still attending, told them I was 20 mins away; appointment did not start until 20 mins.
When I arrived, no one from the office was picking up, no one was at the office.
Very unprofessional to not call back to my calls, I waited about 30 mins going to every flooring 1-5 floors with my daughter looking for the office. Called the office about 6 times. Left a voicemail. This definitely was a waste of my time when I have an important situation to resolve within my business.

******* DO NOT USE THEM******* When I first met and hired this law firm I was told that I needed to get the retainer fee in right away so that Sean could start the process and start to make the Allocation for child support, I was also told that I would remain and be the soul decision maker for my daughter and that me and my daughters dad had 30 days after he got served to fill out and send in our financial affidavit or there would be consequences.And that’s what I did I paid and sent in my financial affidavit right away…30 days later my daughters dad never sent his is and no consequences happened. I sent in 5 financial affidavits…for what? None of them were used and I was charged for them. For months I was dealing with Sean and there was a phone call made to discuss my case and about me staying decision maker he told me “what gives you the right to make all the decisions”. There was a day I made an appointment to speak to Sean in person and there was a joke made that “I’m paying for his kids college” which I did not find funny. At my first court date there was another attorney (Colin) who was representing me which I was never informed about him taking over my case. For about 2 to 3 months I was dealing with him and then all of a sudden my emails weren’t going through to him and I wasn’t getting returned phone calls and then I found out that he no longer worked with this law firm and Gary was now on my case. So that is 2 times I was never notified that I was getting someone new on my case. Sean,Colin and Gary all told me that no over night visitation would happen till after my daughter was 2 years of age. Steve got over night and I was then told we’ll there really is no reason for him not to have them. It was impossible to get Gary on the phone and I would always get told “he will call you back” or “send and email and he’ll get back to you”. There was 2 weeks that I was calling to discuss something about my case and never got a phone call back and found out that he was out of town and would be back the morning of our court hearing and then called me 5 minuets before we were supposed to go in for court. In that court hearing we discussed parenting time. Lavel law and Diggs firm both stated that my daughters father has been dropping her off at 7pm on his Wednesday and Gary just sat there and did not speak up and say that I am the one who picks her up from his house. Anytime I would ask when child support would be talked about the response was “I’m not sure, this is a process, it could be another year”. After all this I had to seek out someone new to represent me and when I did the first question I was asked was “how much do you receive in child support” and they were in complete shock that this case has been going on for 15 months and that this wasn’t this first thing talked about. An Allocation for child support was never even made through this law firm and I found out too that I in fact can get back pay for support when MLG told me I couldn’t. The law firm I have now has gotten more done in one court hearing and in one meeting that MLG did in 15 months. I put all of my trust in MLG just to be failed and I have been taken advantage of and was made out to be a fool during court. They also tried to sue me for the remaining balance of what I owed because I refused to pay them after the services I was provided.

Amazing service! Initiating a divorce can be frightening, frustrating, and emotional. Keeping that in mind the last thing that you need is the lack of support and assistance from your attorney. I’m happy to say that the attorneys at MLG has made this process easy. Things can get rocky when the type of divorce is contested and especially when you live with the spouse. They were communicative, informative and they didn’t let me down. My kudos go to Alexandria for empathizing with me along this process and getting everything that I needed done. Can you give zeros stars. Thats what I would give to this law firm. My entire experience has been a nightmare . Where do I start?!. I hired this law firm in February 2022 to handle my divorce case. I had consultation with Sean and was given a flat rate as long as I didn't go to trial. This was my first time going through a divorce and I wanted the process to be as seamless as possible. The process was everything short of that ! I started with an attorney by the name of Angela. The goal was for me and my ex husband to come to settlement agreement. At times I couldn't figure out if they were working for me or not . I filled out a financial affidavit turned in all my financial documents to the firm with the assumption they were going to forward the to opposing counsel and Then after about 11 months of dealing with Angela I get a call from someone at the firm by the name of Nick. He said Angela would no longer be on the case and he would be handling my case moving forward. When I asked about Angela he said "she was doing something else" . What exactly does that mean ? Now I have to catch a new attorney up on my case. Very frustrating. Next thing I know opposing counsel has filed a motion against me for failing to turn in financial documents. Im confused at this point because I submitted all of these things to the firm. Come to find out they never turned in any of my documents. So me and Nicholas the new attorney had to do all over. I then advised Sean I would not be covering any expenses with this motion due to their lack of turning in my documents he agreed. Meanwhile I am still receiving bills from this firm while they continue to screw up. I deal with Nick for about 3 months and then here comes another attorney Deborah . Sean advised that Nicholas was fired (and yes he said he fired him) and Deborah would be taking over. He told me she would do a courtesy call to introduce herself. Great attorney number 3! Now I have to catch another attorney up on my case. Deborah took over and me and my ex husband started in settlement finally after over a year. We reached settlement . I had a zeroed out bill from this firm as of March 2023. I reached settlement agreement in July 2023. Before settlement paperwork was filed all of a sudden I get a 9k bill from this firm . I spoke with Sean regarding this bill and advised that not only had the bill started in Jan 2023 but most of the itemizations were incorrect and I needed time to go over them . He then tells me ok I can credit but we are still looking at 3K. So we just went from 9k to 3K. I gave a goodwill payment at that time of 1k. This is the only reason they submitted my settlement paperwork.. The following week I get a call about making an additional payment from someone in accounting. I advised that I had already spoken with Sean and I wouldn't be satisfying any payment until I do breakdown . I then received call from Sean shortly after that basically threatening to send me to collections he was rude as hell and made reference to he hates when clients have them do the work and customers try no to pay. Dude really I should have fired this firm a long time ago. I have had 3 different attorneys , They didn't submit my financial documents and now I have a 9k bill. I hung up on him and the next day I get e mail as they filed a motion to withdraw. Luckily I have an attorney in my family who told me exactly what to do and because everything was practically done I no longer needed them . I moved forward and represented myself and got my divorce complete had I not came to an agreement at that point this cold have resulted in me having to hire a new attorney after being out of 5 k in attorney fees with this firm all over greed. Sean is a money hungry person, he has no clue what is going on with any of the cases around his firm , and he can't keep attorneys and has a high turnover because of his piss poor attitude. Anyone reading this review I seen the bad reviews and still gave them a chance . Trust the reviews they are real! Save yourself time and money DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM!

This is the drive thru for legal help. If you have a divorce case that is nonconflict then go with this cheaper option, but do not make the mistake in thinking that they will fight for you and your family. Sean sold me on his services when he said he could get 60/40 custody. He passed me off to a freshman lawyer Hanna fresh out of law school and had no.ide what she was doing. She didn't know how to speak to the judge and defend outlandish allegations. I put up with it for a year until she dug a hole so deep, it was impossible to trust this law firm any longer. I laid out evidence and highlighted everything for her to take the reigns in the courtroom. Nevertheless she continued to sit on her hands. After 6 months of using a new law firm we were able to reverse everything that this lawfirm allowed to happen.

Worst Law Firm Group You Can Encounter! I’ve Had The Worst Experience Ever With Sean After Payment Total increasing Without Notice And Threatened To Pay Within Days Or He’ll “Withdraw”. This company Is Crooked Not Only Did Sean Not communicate At All During My Ongoing Case, We haven’t reached A Court Date AND I Don’t Believe He Did Anything With My Case Information In The First Place!
