After reviewing several mediators, we decided to go with Chandra based on a number of reasons. First, we wanted someone that could communicate the overall legal process so that we had a clear understanding of when the final settlement would occur. In addition, we wanted someone that would be attentive throughout the expected long mediation process. Finally and most importantly, we needed a mediator that connected to us on a personal level based on the nature of the emotional situation.

I can confidently say that Chandra excelled at all our expectations and did an outstanding job to get us to the finish line. Each relationship situation is different, but I would highly recommend Chandra to anyone that wants a quality mediator that is genuinely a nice individual.

Horrible experience in dealing with Chandra for our divorce. She doesn't respond to calls or emails and sides with females. She gave out her cell phone to my ex and would text with her but Chandra would not respond or return my calls. When she did respond to my emails it would by two weeks later. She had shared private conversations, emails and documents with my ex that were supposed to be attorney client privilege. After the first time she shared my info I asked her not to do that again. Then she ended up forwarding an email chain between Chandra and I only with private info to my ex. Many occasions she acted like she was representing my ex and negotiating on her behalf. Chandra would say assets and debts were split 50/50 at the beginning of the mediation but then would change her mind and said I had to pay more. I called her out on this (and other items) and told her that's not what she originally said. She would not give me alternative options on how to take credits for money I paid after the separation but she would always give the ex several options on how she could get more money. Luckily I kept diligent notes and pushed back on all this and fought for what was right. But i should not have had to do that since Chandra is supposed to be independent but acted like she represented my ex. I do not recommend her for mediation.

My husband and I went to Chandra to help us with a legal separation. I had anticipated a long, expensive, arduous process to resolve asset distribution as well as spousal support after a long, 20 year marriage. Chandra was wonderful. We both went to the meeting apprehensive and with a certain amount of anger. Chandra explained that emotions and feelings aside, the courts look at financial facts, and this helped us to put aside our feelings and quickly resolve our financial issues. Getting ugly and going to court wasn’t going to change what was on a DissoMaster, and she presented this in a way that made us realize that we needed to work on this and accept what was in black and white. She managed the process so that we both felt “heard”. More importantly, she helped us arrive at agreements that were fair for both of us. We revisited our numbers with her a year later, and that went smoothly too. My husband and I are still separated and have a great relationship with one another. We don’t have plans to divorce, and we will see what happens down the road. I don’t think we would would have been able to remain close to one another if it hadn’t been for Chandra.
