Hiring Emily Rapp from MagnusonRapp Law was one of the best legal decisions I have ever made. I needed assistance enforcing details from the dissolution of my marriage that were not being carried out. She understood exactly what I needed, exactly how to do it, and why I wanted it done quickly and correctly. I was very lucky to have Emily Rapp on my side. She is not only very thorough in her research but her knowledge of civil law is impressive. My divorce was one of the most difficult to process because my ex was trying to take everything from me, my home, my money, my children, my sanity and Emily saved these things for me (except the Money part that went to the court system, but at least my ex did not get it). My divorce required assistance from a GAL and Emily fought tooth and nail to ensure I would keep my kids against all the allegations my abusive ex was concocting. In the end I was awarded the custodial parent of both of my children because of Emily.
She also specializes in cohabitation cases when it comes to paying maintenance. My ex chose not to work for over 11 years and because we were married for over 19 years I was required to pay maintenance. According to the new laws I had to pay my ex for 13.5 years, but Emily was able to negotiate it down to only 1 year!
Divorce is never easy and no one really wins but to have the support of a great lawyer and her staff on your side makes a huge difference. I will tell you that during all the horrible allegations my ex and his lawyer would sling around in court on a daily basis Emily handled herself with dignity, but never let them walk all over us.
Thank you again Emily for sticking with me through this long year divorce process and seeing through the lies of an abusive narcissistic sociopath so I was able to have a favorable outcome.
