Marietta is a wonderful designer, careful and skilled artist and a wonderful and bright person! Marietta made a bespoke dress for my mother to wear to my wedding in 2021. As I bride I could not have been happier with the process of both working with Marietta, and also with how my mother's dress turned out for my wedding day!

We met with Marietta several times, and she graciously allowed me to accompany my mother for all appointments. Marietta worked collaboratively with my mother to dream up a dress that would make my her feel confident and beautiful on this very special occasion. Marietta is a wonderful listener, and made sure to incorporate any elements that my mother highlighted as important to her into the creation of her dress. Marietta also gave my mother wonderful advice on what accessories and shoes might look best with the dress she was designing for her.

As a bride, I wanted my mom to feel very special on my wedding day, and Marietta helped my mother to feel special both before the wedding day, and as she wore the beautiful dress that Marietta made on the day of my wedding. My mother truly looked and felt so beautiful and confident in what Marietta created. The dress ended up being exactly what my mother wanted, and was extremely well constructed; she received compliments on the dress from everyone!

Marietta is a huge design talent and fine seamstress of which the likes of can’t be found easily. She created a wedding dress of my dreams! Nothing in any bridal salon was quite right and I had an amazing collaborative experience with her not only addressing the perfect style for my figure but also she had the expertise to know what fabric would drape and move the best for the design. The hand stitched buttons were a perfect detail for our special occasion.
It was incredible to have a couture gown, one-of-a-kind made for me and I cherish the experience. I will definitely return to Marietta for our next special family occasion. She is extraordinary and her type of custom tailoring is a dying art.

This is the second time I have worked with Marietta. The first was for my mother-of- the bride dress several years ago and now for my best friend's wedding she is making her wedding gown. I was so pleased with my first gown. It was just gorgeous! It made me feel so special and elegant. My best friend's gown is just as gorgeous! Marietta did a WONDERFUL(!!!) job with my wedding dress!! I went in without a complete vision for what I was looking for, just some random ideas. Marietta was able to sketch something out that was so beautiful and then brought it to life for my special day! She was so collaborative and calming and made sure that the dress was shaping up to be my dream dress along the way. We even added some 3D flowers that were all crafted by hand, one by one. I found Marietta through a friend who's Mother of the Bride dress was the most beautiful I had ever seen. (And then discovered that she has made a gorgeous wedding gown for ANOTHER friend!) Marietta created the perfect Mother of the Groom dress for me. She listened to what I had to say about what I wanted (elegant but comfortable, special but not a black tie evening gown) and found the perfect fabric and conceived the ideal design. The best part of working with Marietta, though, is that she is honest about how you look. She doesn't try to sell you on something just to make a sale. She wants you to look your best. Marietta is a wonderful designer. She is an artist and makes your visions come to life. Marietta made my bat mitzvah dress when I was a pre-teen, which she turned into my engagement party dress over 10 years later. She also made my wedding dress as well as many other beautiful pieces for friends and family. I cannot speak to her quality of work enough and her pieces are timeless!
