London Castle Appraisals provides an incredibly disappointing experience. They didn't even communicate properly with the realtors, which caused unnecessary delays and confusion. On top of that, their appraisal was completely off, comparing our property to units that weren’t even remotely similar to the one we bought. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and inaccurate evaluations make working with them a frustrating ordeal.

Shawn, the appraiser, is causing a deal to fall apart because he will not return any calls, emails, or a report in a timely fashion. It took an entire week just for him to call tidewater, and now 3 days later still NOTHING. Have had to call the VA at this point and still no reply. He is ignoring multiple attempts at contact, and this deal has a tight timeframe. It is one thing to be backed up, it's another to be completely unprofessional.

The appraiser, Sean, from London Castle was VERY unprofessional! He did not return ANY of my calls or emails, EVER, to discuss his appraisal errors. He grossly undervalued my home, which was listed and for sale. This caused our deal to fall through and everyone involved in this transaction undue stress, aggravation, and financial loss. He used old comps (10-13 months old) and did not bother to investigate the recent builder closings in the subdivision, which were more reflective of our value. He also shorted us over 200 square feet, which grossly misrepresented and devalued my clients' home. In addition, we were not given sufficient credit for recent improvements to the property. If you need an appraiser, look elsewhere and read their reviews! This company gets 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼. Tiffany, Real Estate Broker (of 20 years)
