I paid Courtney to file some divorce documents to the courts. I ended up needing an actual attorney who verified NO documents were actually filed. I had my boyfriend make an appointment with her, because she wasn’t answering or returning my calls. I went to the scheduled appointment and surprised her, I told her I wanted a refund. She agreed to the refund and told me to pick up the check later that day. I never saw or heard from her again.

Started off great but then Courtney stopped responding. There were several errors on paperwork and I wasnt advised that some paperwork wasnt filed in time as I was walking in the door for court. Im disappointed to say the least. Shes very friendly but very flakey.

BBB gave legal tech an (F) on their business rating. You have to earn that rating.
Please read the BBB reviews, she is still stealing money from people. Do not trust Courtney. She has a history of fraud.

On 10/19/21, I paid Courtney $550.00 to file a QDRO. Todays date 10/13/23, It has been about two years and still waiting. I really didn’t want to write this review. I give people the benefit of the doubt but now I am out of money and time wasted. I gave Courtney all of the information she needed to file my case. Well it was filed once with the court and it was filed wrong and for the wrong agency. I spoke with Courtney and she said she would refile for me. It’s been a long time with very vague answers. I last spoke with Courtney about one month ago and she stated that my case was approved and I would be receiving my funds soon. I tried to call back for an update. She has not responded to any of my calls or messages. I tried contacting the proper agency that she was supposed to file with and they do not have any of my information and have not spoke with anyone from legal tech in Clovis. It’s pretty bad when someone takes your money and totally does not do their part as a business. I have asked for a refund or for Courtney Cra——— to complete the job I paid for. I am partially disabled and I don’t have much more money to spend. I did even offer her more money just to have my case corrected. I have been kind and respectful at all times when contacting Courtney at legal tech. I should have took the time to read the reviews of this business and there are also other negative reviews with the BBB. Please don’t waste your money or time. I will follow up with another review of case was corrected or ignored. There are also other resources for any of you to use, if you have a complaint. More to follow. The business license for legal tech in Clovis expired on 12/31/21 so if you hired this business after get your money back. Courtney is a thief, she failed to respond to the bbb and the attorney generals office. My fault for not reviewing this business, she has many complaints and by now it should be criminal and not civil.

Save your money and frustration! These people have not only lied to me but if you request any information they will never return your phone calls overcharge you and I should've listened to the reviews on here! They are rude to all their customers !!! If you're a first-time customer they seem very nice but once you hire them and give them your money watch out! I was told the most time it would take to file my paperwork would be up to three months max now it's going on seven months they will not pick up their phone or return my phone calls when I do get a hold of them and ask them for any information or proof that they've done anything. Please beware! The final straw was when I had a friend at the courthouse just call me back and tell me that all the stuff that they said they have done was a total lie! They have not filed any of the paperwork I needed other than the first part and I have proof now that all they said was a lie!! They keep stating that the courthouse is backed up and even though that may be true after speaking with the courthouse them self they stated that at most it would be a month and they would still have the documentation to prove that the paperwork was still there. Good luck calling them on business hours because if you are a customer already and they don't like you for whatever reason for calling them out on their negligence they will screen all calls and not pick up. I could go on and on about so many different problems I've had with this company but I don't want to waste anymore my time. Please save your money and go elsewhere and read reviews about who you go through because if I read the reviews I would not have gone through them and saved a half of the year of time through this unethical business !!

Ruth and Courtney are crooks. I paid $425 on 4/15/2020 for them to file a modification of my current custody order. I had sent them a copy of my current order that day and received their declaration write up on 4/30/2020, which was filled with inaccurate information and a lot of errors. I retyped it and sent back to them on 5/5/2020. I received NO FURTHER COMMUNICATION at that point. I left them countless voicemails and sent email after email. I typed one further email on 9/23/2020 to share my disappointment and anger with being ripped off by them and I finally received a response from Ruth. She claims this was the first she had heard of this and asked for my number. She told me she would investigate this tomorrow at the office. Today, 9/24/2020, she called and said that her "log" showed that they had called me on 5/21/2020 to let me know that everything was done and I needed to come in and sign. They are liars. I pulled my phone records and there is no call from them that day. Please do not waist your money and time/energy on these people.

I used this company several times in the past and never had a problem until now. Luckily I was not out much money. There was two parts to the paperwork after they did the first part and it was served I called back to the rest of the paperwork, not only was the first part of the paperwork not correct they never returned my call to finish the second part of the paperwork. I even emailed Courtney. I was very disappointed with the service this time.

Terrible customer service! Told “I’m not a priority” and hung up on. I paid to have my paperwork finalized after I had done all of the other court documents/leg work for the past year by myself. It should of been quick and simple and here it is over 5 months later and it’s still not taken care of! I’m told “I’ll call you back” and then weeks and months go by with no call. I got fed up with the lies and disrespect from Ruth and called the courts clerk myself only to be told that over a month ago my paperwork was sent back to legal tech with issues that need to fixed...and the court still hasn’t received my papers corrected&re submitted. Called legal tech to tell them all of this, and of course they denied it and promised to call me back “next week on Monday”....and again no call! Save yourself money, hassle and time by going to another paralegal!
