I recently hired Meggin Hurlburt, LDA, to prepare some legal paperwork.
I explained my situation and what I needed and gave her the documents she requested and paid her fee.
A few days later, Meggin called me and we discussed my situation. She reminded me that she cannot provide me with legal advice but she gave me some ideas to ask an attorney about.
I did what she suggested and made some phone calls. I learned that I did in fact have another option that would be easier and save me some money.
I called Meggin back and we further discussed this new option where the legal documents would not be necessary.
She was glad it worked out and happily refunded her fee.
Meggin Hurlburt’s honesty and integrity stood out to me because all she had to do was keep quiet and prepare the new legal documents as previously asked and keep her fee. Instead, she contacted me and first and saved me some money.
I will keep her in mind for any future needs involving legal documents.

Megan did an excellent job preparing and drawing up my will and trust paper's. She explained everything very well and even provided a couple of notary's as well.

Meggin was hired by my ex husband (we’ve had a ridiculously civil divorce) to process our divorce MSA. From the beginning this process with her was horrible. She did not listen to his request to correct spelling of names or send required documents to the correct emails. After 5 months of working with her we finally got our MSA papers but the names were still spelled incorrectly and provided us our MSA papers uncertified. The documents she provided us with were denied by DFAS, when informing her the documents were not what DFAS needed she said we could go online and request the documents ourselves, instead of her providing us with accurate documentation we need to move on with our lives.

Would not recommend using her services if you want your papers processed properly and in a timely manor!

My ex and I literally disputed nothing, this should have been the simplest case for her. Instead I’m in another state trying to figure out how to get the documents I need so I can change name name and separate properties.

I live overseas. I needed to get some old court documents, and needed some help getting them. I found Legal Assistants through Yelp and contacted them.
Megan did a fantastic job of making sure everything happened, and my paperwork is on the way. And not only that, she made sure the documents had sticky notes in them for the processors who need copies of them so there is no confusion on certain dates.... all for a very reasonable price. Now I know this wasn't a hard job, but it was done quickly and done well. And that's important to me.
They have earned and continue to earn every bit of their 5 star reputation.

Meggin did a wonderful job in handling my divorce. She was able to successfully perform her work for us remotely because my wife was in California, and I was in Michigan. The entire process went fairly smoothly without it being too stressful or costly.

A true expert at her job and is a wizard on the keyboard. Her willingness to work with your schedule and the way she knows family law like a guru is beyond measurable. She helped me with writing 2 RFO’s for a Move away within 2 hours total included filing and serving!!! She also helped me write my response to a FCS within 4 hours!!! Her write up was 100 times better than my previous family law attorneys was most impressive. I can’t say how much of a technical expert she is at her job. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. YOU WONT BE LED WRONG!!!

Meggin explained everything clearly. She guided us through the maze of forms and procedures. She was knowledgeable, upbeat and friendly, yet sensitive and professional in her demeanor. She is also infinitely patient and cheerful. She made a difficult process so much easier and less stressful.
