I hired Robert to prepare paperwork for a co-petition divorce. It was all straightforward, my ex and I agreed on all terms and have no children. When I received the paperwork from LA half of it was printed and half was filled with ink, it looked unprofessional. After filing the paperwork the court called to inform me that this was not the correct form for a co-petition divorce. They sent back the package from legal alternatives with the correct form. When I informed Robert he was insistent and defensive that they didn't do anything wrong. I even emailed him the letter I received from court along with the correct form to use for a co-petition. I never heard back from them and redid all the paperwork on my own. I feel completely dismissed, frustrated and taken advantage of by this company. What a joke.

Great service. Fast, easy and Robert responded quickly to my many questions. I submitted the questionnaire on a Thursday night, the paperwork was completed and delivered to me the following Monday, I filed on Wednesday and my divorce was finalized 10 days later. The service took a lot of angst away from what has been a trying time. Highly recommend their service.

I have just come to the end of the longest most awful experience in my whole life. Legal alternatives helped me through, and went well beyond simply being helpful. Without them, I would not be able to divorce, and restart my life anytime soon. It became apparent that my case would have required the help of a high priced attorney which I could not have afforded the retainer to begin the process with. In the end, this was avoided. Both my ex, and I were both well taken care of, and treated like friends. I owe a big debt of gratitude, and I recommend their services to anyone.

This was a great place for help with a non contested divorce. They were very easy and responsive. Literally called and got an email 15 mins later. When I dropped off the paperwork at the court the clerk even commented how they like working with paperwork done by Legal Alternatives.

This company is amazing! I was desperate to get a divorce as soon as possible. I was in a terrible situation and needed results fast. I paid my $155 and filled out online questionnaire Friday about 3pm and Monday morning all the documents were in my mail box. I had many questions and called them a half dozen times and they were patient and helpful.
I had my entire divorce completed and signed off by a Judge in 95 days! That's from the time I did my survey.

Don’t waste resources with this service when filing for divorce. I only ended up spending money unnecessarily with this service as they do not actually know the process of individual courts or counties. I’d have been better off struggling through it on my own. Legal Alternatives sent a packet of divorce papers to file as “4 easy steps” but offered little guidance & NO assistance in courthouse procedures. Most of my paperwork was replaced by my local court to be filled out again properly submitted.
