Recently hired Mr. Heck to up-date our wills and related papers. Mr. Heck was referred to us by our daughter who also had her wills, etc up-dated and we felt very comfortable working with him. John Heck completed a miracle for my family. The night before my mom passed away, he showed up at the hospital to draw up a trust for me and my sister. John Heck did an outstanding job on our trust and will. This review is long because I can't say enough good things about his treatment of us and the work he did for us. I went into the process knowing I wanted a good plan for our estate, but having only some understanding of the value of a trust. Now that I have worked with him. I wish I had set up this trust years earlier! He assisted us in every aspect of figuring out the best path forward for our estate planning. Anyone who is lucky enough to get his services will be able to rest easy knowing they have taken care of their loved ones with his immense help. Going through the process with him constantly communicating with us made it very comfortable because he educated us constantly on what everything meant. He made trusts understandable and the legal considerations clear! Moreover, after the birth of our second child, he immediately set about (without our needing to ask him to do it) updating the trust to take into account our new family setup. I am so glad I did not go to any of the "fast food" version of trust attorneys out there knowing what I know now. John is about as hard working as I have encountered, and he is a brilliant attorney. He put in weekends and nights to get our documentation done in time to beat all deadlines he and we set for us to complete the process. We've been thoroughly satisfied with John's work and the entire process of creating an estate plan. John took a lot of time to understand our particular needs and develop a custom plan. He isn't just selling a cookie cutter package to everyone who walks through the door.
